Over the last 4 weeks T and L attended MARC in Mandurah for their Fun Fit for Everyone program, put on by the City of Mandurah. These two active lads participated in many activities including Pickleball, Dance and Basketball.
As well as fitness these promoted a great social connection and skill building.

T and L are two of our most active clients and love to get involved in community run events.
Thank you to Fiona Allen and the City of Mandurah, along with MARC.

Our team was proud to showcase the support services we offer to help young people with disabilities confidently take their next steps after school.

Infinity Supports WA are looking for a dedicated female team member (clients preference) to join our organisation. We are looking for someone to join an established team, so a good team ethic is a must. This role is to work across multiple female clients
Location Rockingham - Mandurah

Mandatory Requirements for this role:
Manual handling and Medication assistance training (preferred but not mandatory)
Fluency in English (Client Preference)
Current driving license and fully insured reliable car.
Legal right to work in Australia
Current first aid and CPR
NDIS workers clearance
Current Working with children’s check or willingness to obtain one
Up to date COVID 19 Vaccination including booster dose (must be minimum of 3 doses)
NDIS worker orientation module
NDIS worker induction module

Remuneration:
This is a casual position and the level of pay would be equivalent to SCHADS level 2.1. There is a high chance of this role becoming permanent on completion of six months’ probation. Shifts available may include working hours may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

During the last holidays J spent time planning a trip to Rottnest with his Support worker.
J was involved in the planning of the trip times and the purchasing of the tickets. J and his support worker spent the day exploring the island and snorkeling for crayfish.

The latest Adventures of T, this young man has been busy in recent weeks, Trying everything he can. From rock climbing to the museums and Scitech. T is a happy young man who loves spending time with his support workers.
Attending weekly sailing with Sailability and forming a Wednesdays Warriors with another support worker and his client T and his support worker are active with exercise in the morning the sailing at South of Perth yacht club. They have regular lunches at various shopping centres with Subway being his favourite. there afternoon consist of basketball Timezone or bowling where he regularly beats his support staff.

Well Done T! You have come a long way.

Has your child ever seen someone with a visible disability and loudly pointed out that they look different?

This is a familiar scene for many parents.

The questions come from a place of innocence and curiosity, but they can be awkward and can evoke negative feelings for the person with disability
