Before growth, before change - we need to feel safe.
Safety settles the nervous system, clears the mind, and anchors the soul.

So many of my little clients came in for energy therapy sessions these school holidays—and they lit up the space in the best way.

Before they left, I asked them to take a photo of something they liked in my treatment room. The things they noticed… honestly, it melted me.

From crystals to cosy corners to tiny treasures I barely even think about—kids see everything. They feel everything. And they remind me, again and again, how powerful it is to create a space that feels safe, calm, and magical.

I love working with your beautiful kids. They’re curious, wise, sensitive, silly, and incredibly in tune—and it’s an honour to hold space for them as they learn to feel their feelings, trust their instincts, and regulate their little nervous systems.

This reel is their eyes, their view. Hope you love it as much as I do!

New Story Out Today: Isla the Tiger and the Brains That Shine Differently 🐯✨

Isla is focused, curious, and wonderfully unique. She’s based on a very special little friend of mine who happens to be autistic—and she’s one of many reasons why this story is so close to my heart.

So many of my little clients are neurodivergent.
And I live in a beautifully neurodivergent family too.
That’s why creating neuro-affirming stories matters so much to me. Stories that don’t try to fix difference—but celebrate it. Stories that help all kids feel seen, understood, and proud of who they are, just as they are!

In this new Steph and the Sleepytime Crew episode, Isla and her friends take on the Jungle Genius Games—each with their own brilliant brain, from ADHD and anxiety to dyslexia, giftedness and OCD. Their neurotypical friend has something important to offer also.

Because every brain has strengths.
And all of them deserve to shine.

🌙 New Episode Alert: Oscar the Owl and the Friendship Feels

What happens when your child’s “friend” starts making mean jokes, bossing them around, and leaving them with a tight tummy and a heavy heart?

In this Steph and the Sleepytime Crew story, Oscar the Owl has a new friend — but something’s not right. His new friend Foxy is funny... but also controlling, jealous, and a bit mean.

This episode gently explores how:
🦉 Good friends make your body feel calm and safe
🦊 Unkind friends can leave you feeling small, anxious, and confused
✨ Your feelings are valid — and speaking up (for yourself and others) is brave and beautiful

Perfect for sensitive kids aged 5–11 who are learning about emotional safety, boundaries, and how to choose friendships that feel kind and true.

🌀ENERGY CHECK-IN 🌀

Pause.
Close your eyes.
Take one slow breath.
Now ask yourself: “Where is my energy right now?”
Is it in your head? Your heart? Scattered everywhere? Is there any pain, any niggles? Is your body trying to tell you something?

Bringing awareness to your energy is the first step to coming home to yourself.

You don’t need to fix it. Just notice. That’s enough for today.

Raising Sensitive Sons: Strength in their Softness

Some boys don’t just feel their own feelings — they feel everyone’s.

They notice the quiet tension in the room.
They crumble when something feels unfair.
They sense when you’re not okay — even when you say “I’m fine.”
They carry it all… often silently.

For a long time, we've assumed girls were the sensitive ones. But I’ve come to see — our boys are just as sensitive. Sometimes even more so.

But the difference?
Society has told them they’re not allowed to be.

And now we’re seeing the result of that emotional suppression: anxiety, depression, burnout, disconnection — in men of all ages.

Because when we aren’t safe to be our true selves in every part of life — our softness, our rage, our grief, our intuition — we don’t thrive.
We just perform.
We survive in a life that doesn’t feel like our own.

This week’s podcast is a love letter to the sensitive boys, the mothers raising them, and the men who never got to be fully seen.

New episode alert!

Ever caught your child saying things like “I’m dumb” or “I always mess up”?
That sneaky inner critic starts early — and tonight’s Sleepytime Crew story is here to help.

In this episode, Nimbus Noah vs The Nasty Narrator, we meet Noah the Nimbus Dragon — a clever, sensitive little legend who feels everything so deeply. But he’s got a not-so-helpful voice in his head named Noel… and Noel is a bit of a jerk.

With help from his friend Una the Unicorn, Noah learns how to name, tame, and reframe those unkind thoughts — with a little humour, a robot voice, and a lot of heart.

This story is perfect for bedtime, especially for kids who are hard on themselves, feel big emotions, or need help learning to talk kindly to themselves.

A few weeks ago, a long-time client sat across from me and shared something that stopped me in my tracks.

She said, “You know, I’ve done all the things - talk therapy, meds, hospital stays. But nothing has helped me the way this work has. Nothing has stuck like this has.”

This client was one of my first - seven years ago now - and her journey hasn’t been linear or easy. But she's kept showing up. And the shifts she’s created through energy therapy are real, lasting, and deeply earned. And boy am I so proud of her!

It was a humbling moment. Not because I think I have all the answers, but because it reminded me of the power of this work. And the power of the human spirit to heal, even when it’s been cracked wide open.

If you’re in a season where nothing is working…
If you’ve tried it all and still feel stuck…
If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or hanging on by a thread...

This is your sign to try something different.

Energy therapy isn’t woo-woo, it's actually based on science (biofield science, polyvagal theory & nervous system regulation, heart-brain coherence) it’s nervous system support, emotional release, and deep energetic clearing.

It’s healing that meets you where you are. And helps you come back to who you really are.

You don’t have to walk through it alone.

Meet Pip the Panda who’s learning the truth about perfection!
This story is for all the kids who get frustrated when they can’t do something straight away.
The kids who feel like giving up when it’s hard.
The kids who truly think they should be better by now.

Pip the Panda tries roller skating for the first time… and it does NOT go to plan. Cue the meltdown, the mean voice in her head, and all the “I’m not good enough” thoughts.

But with a little help from her wise friend Moxy, Pip learns that:
🛼 Perfection is an illusion
🛼 Negative thoughts aren’t facts
🛼 And mistakes? They’re actually how we grow

This story is gentle, encouraging, and just the right amount of funny — perfect for any little human learning to be a bit kinder to themselves (and maybe a few big humans too).

Because not perfect? Is more than okay. 💛
