Wouldn’t it be great if all of your child’s information was available in one place? If communication was as simple as the click of a few buttons? If payment and consent for events could be made from your phone? We thought so, too.

At Rivergums, we use the SoundsWrite program to teach phonics.

Udemy has a free course that can help you understand how we teach phonics and support your child learning to read and write.

With this course you can:
-help your child take their first steps in reading and spelling.
-understand how to help your child build, write and read simple cvc (consonant, vowel, consonant) words.
-understand how to correct your child when they make a mistake in their reading or writing simple words.
-have a basic understanding of how phonics works.
