First time trying Physiotherapy at our studio? Here are some FAQs to help clear up any concerns you had!

⭐️ What happens during a first session?
A first session is split into a subjective (questions) and an objective assessment (physical examination).
We use all this information to help us create a personalised treatment plan and set realistic treatment goals.
 
⭐️ What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes that you will be able to move around in, such as gym wear. We may need to see the injured area so wear something you feel comfortable moving or removing for ease of access.
 
⭐️ Do you take insurance/Medicare?
Yes, we accept both personal health insurance and Medicare (this needs to be with an EPC plan from your GP).
 
⭐️ What should I bring?
If you do have a health insurance card it is helpful to bring this. As well as this, any recent or relevant scans you have had done.
 
⭐️ Will I need another appointment?
It is likely that you will. Treatment and rehab takes time and everyone heals differently. Your physiotherapist will likely be able to give you an estimate on how long they think recovery will take based on what they find. We like to follow up after the initial assessment to see how you respond and how you are getting on.
 
⭐️ Where can I park?
There is plenty of free parking spaces on the street (Beatrice Street) outside of the clinic.
 
⭐️ Do I need a referral?
You do not need a referral to come for treatment
