Bullying No Way Week 2025
This National Week of Action (11 – 15 August) calls on whole-school communities to come together and take a stand against bullying. From classrooms to staffrooms to sports clubs and beyond, we all have a role to play.
The goal? To support safe, respectful environments where every student feels they belong. This means speaking up, listening well, and making sure all voices are heard and valued.
Thousands of schools, and countless individuals, early childhood services and community groups, take part each year. Will you be one of them?
Let’s create schools where everyone belongs, feels safe, and bullying is never accepted.

Loneliness Awareness Week Australia
4–10 August 2025
You don’t need a big crew to feel connected. Sometimes it starts with just one small moment - a smile, a kind word, a shared laugh.
This week, let’s make those moments matter. At home, work, school, or online - every connection counts.

International Day of Friendship (30 July 2025)
In a world facing division, conflict, and crisis, friendship is more than just a personal bond - it’s a powerful act of solidarity.
Today, on the International Day of Friendship, we’re reminded that simple connections between people, communities, and cultures can build trust, inspire peace, and create the stability our world urgently needs.
Let’s celebrate the friendships that bridge divides, embrace diversity, and shape a more united, compassionate future.

Our psychologists can offer support with mental health concerns, stress, trauma, and navigating life transitions. We also support carers and families.
Everyone deserves access to respectful, affirming, and accessible care. We’re here to listen, support, and walk alongside you.

Inner Calm Clinical Psychology embraces the spirit of Pride Month and recognises the strength of individuals within the LGBTQI+ community. In Australia, LGBTIQ+ individuals experience mental health challenges disproportionately compared to their heterosexual peers, including higher rates of mental disorders, su***de ideation, and self-harm. This is linked to experiences of stigma, prejudice, discrimination, and abuse related to their sexual orientation and gender identity.
We stand alongside the LGBTIQ+ community in the pursuit of acceptance and equality, and support those facing challenges related to sexual identity, bullying, substance abuse or mental health issues. No one should feel alone in their struggles, and our Team of experts in providing support to LGBTIQ+ individuals, family members and friends have IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY to help. Contact us at info@innercalm.com.au or on 0499 908 684.

Infant Mental Health Awareness Week (IMHAW), which takes place from 9-15 June 2025, is an opportunity to discuss the importance of supporting babies’ mental health and wellbeing. The early years of a child’s life – from conception to toddlerhood – are vital in shaping their long-term mental health and wellbeing, making prevention and early intervention a key priority.
IMHAW is also a time to recognise that not everyone bonds easily with their baby. Parents who are overwhelmed by trauma or struggling with mental health difficulties need support.
Our Team of experts have IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY to help. Contact us at info@innercalm.com.au or on 0499 908 684.

On Wednesday 11 June 2025 the Team at Inner Calm Clinical Psychology want to show our appreciation to local first responders and their families by saying two simple words: “Thank you”.
Thank A First Responder Day is an opportunity to publicly express gratitude to the hundreds of thousands of first responders who are there for us day in and day out. Gratitude is good for us – the power of gratitude can have an extraordinary impact on wellbeing and mental health.
Our first responders are known to be at increased risk of experiencing serious, ongoing stress which, if left untreated, may develop into mental health conditions including anxiety, depression or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) (Australia21 Submission 89).
If you are a first responder and need to talk, think about yourself for a change and reach out!

At Inner Calm Clinical Psychology, we are dedicated to improving the health of men and take their mental health seriously.

Here’s what we know:
- Men in Australia die 5 years younger than women on average. (ABS Deaths Australia 2023)
- Every day, 50 Australian men and boys die from preventable causes before the age of 75. (AIHW MORT books 2018-2022)
- Su***de is the leading killer of men under 65. (ABS Underlying causes of death 2023)
- 7 in 10 young people who die are boys and young men. (ABS Underlying causes of death 2023)
- 7 in 10 alcohol-related deaths are men. (ABS Underlying causes of death 2023; AIHW Australian Burden of Disease Study 2024)

This week is a great opportunity for us all to focus on the different ways we can keep men and boys healthier.

In 2025 it is deeply concerning that the leading cause of death for men is Mental Health, something that can be preventable with the right support and tools.

We have experienced psychologists that specialise in Men’s Mental Health with immediate availability. If you are or know of a friend or family member struggling with their mental health, take this as a sign to chat to them about options. That reaching out to address challenges can be the strongest thing to do. You might even be saving a life....
