Allow yourself some stillness in this busy world. Postures are maintained for around 3-5 minutes, which allows a deep opening within your body physically. The passive holds create a postitive stress in the connective tissues, such as joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia, producing hyaluronic acid to lubricate and keep the tissue healthy. On an energetic level you may release tensions, stagnant energy, and other emotions your body may be holding onto.
