Am so excited and slightly anxious about monitoring my glucose levels continuously for the next month. Am so intrigued to see what triggers my levels and then to change some of my lifestyle accordingly to have a stable glucose. FYI I don’t have diabetes this is all in the name of seeking optimal health for myself.

Just listened to the best episode on a podcast in a long time. Kari Nadeau is a physician scientist with expertise in treating food allergies. So excited to welcome Jordan Mullane to the Health Connection team. Jordan is an NIS practitioner and emotional code worker. She practices both techniques to achieve optimal health in her patients. Jordan has a passion for traditional based nutrition and holistic approach to health. Jordan is a mother of two young children and has a passion for building correct foundations for thriving children the immune system and achieving optimal health.
Jordan will be working on a Tuesday from 3pm till 6pm.

Visited the micro prism optics in Docklands today. Such an exciting place to go to for your vision. Preventative corrective therapy for your eyes. Can’t wait to collect my new prism optics glasses in a couple of weeks to correct my vision and use of my eyes 👀 👏👏👏

What a read. Concussion, head injuries, depression and so much more involved in this book. If only we had more medical physicians on board with a well researched way to manage a healthy brain. At Health Connection we are all about the latest research, providing a high standard of evidence based therapies and supplements to help those individuals be the best they can be.
Do yourself a favour and read this book if you have kids who play contact sport or know people who have suffered head injuries. Book an appointment online if you would like some extra support or help related to brain health.

Allergies and reading labels. It is always a challenge and something you need to be vigilant with when you have someone who is anaphylactic. This product used to be nut free and it has now changed to have nuts in it. It is still called free from pesto. A small orange dot on the side says now made with nuts. I did not read this when I cooked tonight as I have used it this year in my cooking. My youngest has an allergy to four nuts and cashews is one of them. This pesto has cashews. So tonight about 5 minutes after eating a lot of the sauce he started vomiting. Not great but we thought he may have caught a germ from somewhere. Vomiting was his only symptom and previously when he has had anaphylaxis he has required his epipen. We have learnt from this in our house and was about to test his system with nuts to see how he responded. Thanks to NIS and improved gut health Lenny’s reaction and symptoms were significantly reduced than previously.

Too much to absorb and learn from this experience and forever grateful for NIS and his amazing immune system.

Definitely have a massive feeling of guilt and horrible parenting moment, lucky he is a fabulous, strong accepting son.
