Welcome back to 2026! We are thrilled to introduce two new members to the Rivergum Team. Welcome to Aislinn and Kim who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to our already amazing group of Behaviour Support Practitioners.
Aislinn is a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with 9 years of specialised experience supporting individuals with complex needs and dual diagnoses. She has a focus on creating positive change for vulnerable people through evidence-based behaviour support planning, restrictive practice reduction, and person-centred approaches that enable choice and maximise independence. With a Bachelor of Social Science and training in Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed care and forensic disability, she prioritises holistic, collaborative approaches that uphold dignity, human rights, and community engagement.
Kim is a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience working alongside people with disabilities across the lifespan. Her work is grounded in respect, curiosity, and a strong belief that behaviour makes sense when the person and their environment are well understood.
She holds a Master of Social Work, a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology), a Graduate Diploma in Primary Education, and an Advanced Diploma of Disability Studies, along with training in Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-aware practice, and complex and challenging behaviour. Kimberley believes effective behaviour support should feel safe, collaborative, and genuinely supportive of quality of life.
Kimberley has extensive experience supporting people with intellectual disability, autism, complex communication needs, and co-occurring mental health challenges. She works closely with participants, families, and support teams to develop practical Behaviour Support Plans that reduce restrictive practices and uphold dignity, autonomy, and human rights. She is committed to culturally safe, inclusive practice that supports LGBTIQ+ communities, First Nations peoples, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
