Morning All,
I just wanted to break the silence as I can’t bear what is happening in the media at the moment. Michelle from Soul Barn is a dear friend of mine and offers the most healing space in Clunes. I need to clear up some of the points the media have reported as I feel as a friend, I am in a space to speak when the words are hard to come by for others.
Michelle has built her business up from nothing and offers the most beautiful healing space to all. This space is available to other businesses where you can rent a room or a larger space for sound healing etc. it’s pure magic. She has bought much love and connection to the town and what she needs now is love and support. Not defacing by the media.

Important points about Soul Barn:

1. Soul Barn rents the space to other practitioners and on the night of the tragedy, it was rented out to a private practitioner who does NOT work at Soul Barn and is a completely separate entity to Soul Barn.

2. Michelle was NOT Present at the event where the tragedy took place.

3. The media have splashed Michelle’s face and business name everywhere which is not passing on an accurate recount of events, in fact it’s defacing her hard earned work. The media have crippled her and perhaps should focus on the event at hand, not the space around the event.

This case is nothing like the mushroom event in Leongatha, so please don’t believe all you hear in news and media.
Media can be ruthless and whilst I know they have a job to do, the repercussions of what they report affects the person long after the story blows over. The news got their story, but at what cost for Michelle? Have the network thought of that? Just awful.

This is one of those moments where you take your friend’s hand and lead them through a time of uncertainty. Michelle needs her soul sisters and brothers at the moment not scrutiny.
