Ballarat Hospice Care is inviting Expressions of Interest from community members to join our Board of Governance.

This is a meaningful volunteer leadership opportunity to support compassionate, high‑quality palliative care in our local community.

We welcome interest from people with experience in governance, marketing, philanthropy, or community engagement, and from those who reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.

Today we celebrate World Social Work Day 🌎

Social work is about creating meaningful change, and we recognise the dedicated professionals who support people and families through life’s most challenging moments.

At Ballarat Hospice Care, our social workers provide compassionate, holistic support, walking alongside patients, families and carers with care, dignity and understanding.

This year’s theme, ‘Co-Building Hope and Harmony: A Harambee Call to Unite a Divided Society’, highlights the importance of connection, collaboration and compassion.
