Susan Crocker is an experienced and passionate Speech Pathologist providing services for pre-school, school aged children and adolescents dedicated to providing the highest standard of assessment and treatment for a broad range of communication and learning difficulties. We help children and adolescents develop their:
auditory processing; listening & understanding; organisation; social communicat

ion; speech; expression; vocabulary; fluency after stuttering; phonological awareness; learning, and confidence. The parents’ knowledge of their child, is combined with thorough assessment to identify any underlying weaknesses in the skills needed for successful communication. Therapy is tailored to the child’s individual needs and parents are supported through this therapy. Therapy is focused around the interests of the child and adolescents, whether it be through play, topic interests, computers or the school curriculum. Working closely with other professionals involved with the child helps to develop a collaborative therapy program.

Following 10 years of advocacy, MBS M10 eligibility will be expanded to include stuttering, speech sound disorders (SSDs), and cleft lip ± palate. We have been advised that this is not subject to further approval, with the measure expected to be effective from approximately March 2026. The new funding commitment—providing up to eight rebatable assessment sessions and 20 rebatable treatment sessions per lifetime—will significantly improve access to vital care, addressing long-standing service gaps. An investment of $74.9 million will be made from 2025-26, with $29.1 million annually thereafter, benefiting an estimated 385,000 people.
