Subconscious Freedom Treatment Centre Subconscious Freedom is a therapeutic, meditative process proving highly successful in the treatment The session went well.

Jenny (32) has suffered from chronic anxiety most of her life. Over the past six years, Jenny has been unable to leave her home due to agoraphobia. Jenny relied on a friend to carry out community based chores such as attending Centerlink. When this friendship ended supports were no longer available. Jenny needed to go to Centerlink to organise some financial support, but she did not know how she was going to manage this herself. Jenny's mental health worker referred her to Subconscious Freedom Treatment Centre and one of our Subconscious Freedom Therapists visited Jenny in her home for a therapy session. Jenny enjoyed the process and reported that she felt more relaxed and confident about accessing the community. One week later, we followed up to see how Jenny was doing. She reported that she had been to Centerlink to get her finances organised, and was about to go shopping for groceries. That is just one of many success stories we could tell you about Subconscious Freedom. Keep an eye on our reviews because clients will be encouraged to post their own Subconscious Freedom experiences in future.

Subconscious Freedom Therapy
How and why was the development of subconscious freedom therapy formed?
To eliminate anxiety triggers in the amygdala of the brain in the subconscious mind.
Who is leigh Skewes?
Was born 1953, Leigh grew up in Buninyong, Victoria.
1. Leigh’s Father, a prisoner of war, struggled with PTSD.
2. Leigh became a carpenter at age 16.
3. Then leigh was diagnosed with Diabetes, Type 1 in 1977.
4. Leigh changed vocation and became a Psychiatric Nurse and became psychiatric shift manager in Psychiatric Acute Units.
5. He then left nursing then went on to become a Youth Outreach Drug & Alcohol Counsellor in Welfare Outreach Centre.
6. Leigh then took on a Dual Diagnosis position funded by the National Illicit Drug Strategy and trained.
7. Diploma in Psychology
8. Diploma Hypnotherapy and trained in EMDR.
8.Trained in ‘Be Set Free Fast’ BSFF in America by Dr Larry Nims in 2003,2006.
Worked as a Psychiatric Special in 13 hospitals in Melbourne for 5 Years
Worked at Centacare as a Senior Worker of a Mental Health Team in Ballarat.
Worked for Dr Dennis Shum (Psychiatrist) to get Subconscious Freedom Therapy Known.
Worked for the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses into Child Sexual Abuse as a Therapeutic Case Manager.
Dual-Diagnosis is the treatment of Mental Illness & Drug Addiction at the same time.
Leigh Skewes is a Dual Diagnosis Clinician who has dedicated his life to the treatment for those who suffer from High Anxiety while using drugs as a coping mechanism.
Leigh realised that to be effective he needed to eliminate psychological trauma to stop his clients from relapsing back into Drug Addiction.
What Do We Need!

We need a Solution where a person does not have to think or talk about the problem, otherwise the person will re-traumatise themselves.
What we know
The Subconscious Mind (Amygdala) is literal and cannot think.
The Subconscious Mind remembers everything and will always remember the instructions given to it.
All emotions are programmed and triggered by amygdala in the subconscious mind and react automatically.
Spider Phobia always produces fear, no exceptions.
What we Know
New Therapy Called ‘Be Set Free Fast’. (BSFF) Uses Cue Word Therapy works in the subconscious mind, and was developed in America by Dr Larry Nims Ph.D.
BSFF was first taught by Dr Nims a psychologist, now used in 38 countries around the world.
Advancements and further subconscious discoveries by Leigh Skewes at the ‘Center For Subconscious Research’, between the years 2000-2023 in Ballarat, Australia
Dr Larry Nims .Ph.D.
‘Both the problem and the solution lie in the subconscious mind.’
This is why we have little or no control over high anxiety states.
History of cue word therapy
BSFF was first taught in America in 1998.
BSFF was first taught in Australia by Dr Dennis Shum (psychiatrist) in the year 2000
Leigh Skewes effectively used BSFF as a Dual Diagnosis Clinician in the UnitingCare Outreach Centre in Ballarat.
By using BSFF in over 200 dual diagnosis clients he found that the results were light years better than traditional Motivational Interviewing and other talk therapies in eliminating trauma from the subconscious mind. 92.5 % Improvement
Dr Dennis Shum
Private Psychiatrist.
Trained in Both Eastern and Western Medicine
1. Dr Shum was the first person to bring Dr Nims’s ‘Be Set Free Fast’ to Australia. In the year 2000.
2. Dr Shum employed Leigh Skewes to get this newly developed therapy known and used.
3. The belief of ‘IT’S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE’ completely halted this attempt.
4. Leigh Skewes further developed ‘Be Set Free Fast’ by embedding a triple ‘Intention to Treat’ into the amygdala of the brain that eliminates dissociation.
5. New therapy is called ‘Subconscious Freedom Therapy’.
Who is the expert in treatment?
Not the Subconscious Freedom Therapy Practitioner.
Not the client’s conscious thinking.
Only the client’s subconscious mind is the expert.
Both the problem and the solution lie in the subconscious mind.
What’s at risk for not treating dissociation.
 Maintain unresolved Trauma- Can lead to su***de.
 Abreaction back into trauma and relive negative emotions.
 Maintain symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, loss, sadness, guilt, worthlessness, and anger etc.
 Continue to avoid people in social situations.
 Continue to cope by using substances that can be addictive.
 Many people do not have the ‘emotional muscle’ to talk about their past leaving them feeling disempowered and self-blaming.
 I life-long feeling of shutting down, dissociation, memory loss and changing alters.
 Ongoing poor self-esteem and poor quality of life.
Why then doesn’t hypnosis work every-time.
1. Many people that have had a history of trauma experience a fear of losing conscious control so they resist treatment.
2. Dissociation prevents treatment, as it is programmed in their amygdala to protect the individual as a subconscious defense mechanism.
3. The conscious mind does not always know what the reason for the problem is, so therefore the hypnotherapist uses guess work only.
The dilemma is how can we eliminates anxiety Triggers in the amygdala.
Hypnosis does not always work in severe anxiety disorders.
The placebo effect works in some, but many people come crashing down.
Be Set Free Fast is effective on most traumatised patients, but still some come crushing down.
Leigh Skewes realized that dissociation was also a major problem.
So, it was necessary to find a way for Leigh to eliminate dissociation from the subconscious.
The method Leigh used in developing subconscious freedom therapy.
It is known that the subconscious mind can flash up a solution to a problem in your sleep.
Leigh consciously used this subconscious phenomenon to start asking his subconscious mind how to eliminate dissociation.
Over a period of twenty-three-years he was able to slowly piece together a method that is now able to eliminate dissociation from the subconscious mind.
The next problem was how can we develop a method of verifying the results given by the subconscious mind.
Kinesiology was the first thing that came to mind, but many people have a subconscious reversal to this.
So, to counteract this Leigh discovered and developed a new form of catalepsy. This would verify the answers from the subconscious mind were accurate and they were coming directly from the subconscious mind.
So, he began checking his subconscious minds answers that flashed up in his sleep with his newly developed catalepsy.
Leigh realised the placebo effect was in fact a subconscious belief or in other words a ‘Subconscious Intention’.
Leigh realised that an ‘Intention to treat’ mirrors the placebo effect.
Leigh then developed a way of embedding a triple ‘Intention to treat’ into the subconscious mind.
Added to this, Leigh further developed cue word therapy by attaching a set of instructions to a cue word, which involved eliminating subconscious blockers such as dissociation from the subconscious mind.
This enables the subconscious mind to react automatically every time the person says, hears or thinks of their cue word.
Leigh was over a period of twenty-three years, able to develop a technique that the subconscious mind could understand and responded to, so that the subconscious mind could eliminate anxiety triggers quickly, gently and thoroughly.
Leigh knew that many clients were suffered from both drug addictions and high anxiety disorders have trouble visiting a therapist due to their anxiety.
So, Leigh’s ambition was to develop a therapy that could be quick and effective in the most traumatised clients in the community.
Added to this, Leigh needed a therapy for all clients and for them to have access to this new subconscious treatment.
In do this, he developed ‘Subconscious Freedom Therapy’ in an audio form and placed it on the world wide web to ensure everyone had a free therapy where they can treat themselves.
It was necessary to ensure all those who have a history of trauma and ongoing anxiety issues can treat themselves.
We all have unwanted emotions at times and now, everybody can access a free effective treatment.
WEBSTER DICTIONARY
Placebo Effect
Improvement in the condition of a patient that occurs in response to treatment but cannot be considered due to the specific treatment used.
Dissociation
is the forgotten problem in Psychology!
Definition of dissociation
Dissociation is a subconscious process where there is a lack of connection between thoughts, feelings, actions or a sense of identity. The process of dissociation exists on a continuum. Mild dissociation experiences are common such as daydreaming or ‘highway hypnosis’ where the person drives from ‘A’ to ‘B’ but does not remember the details of the journey. Whereas Dissociative Identity Disorder is at the severe end of the spectrum.
New Discovery- The clients subconscious mind can treat dissociation quickly and gently.
Subconscious forgiveness
When someone has wronged you, it hurts.
There is clearly no sense in using your own time and energy to prolong that hurt.
Only the subconscious mind knows what to treat and how to treat it. Your subconscious mind can do the treatment without conscious awareness.
Basis stages of treatment.
The person needs to be consciously aware of all the unwanted issues and emotions they want to remove.
The person must give there, intention to treat and trust their subconscious mind to do the work it needs to do, even though their conscious mind won’t understand the words or process.

The change can feel so elegant and smooth that the conscious mind will question the validity of the process.
Don’t Be Afraid of ‘Looking Like a Fool’
As Your Conscious mind will always be Sceptical of any Subconscious Phenomenon it does not Understand.

This is the only true therapy where the person does not have to think or talk about the problem because the solution is in the subconscious mind and the only thing that knowns what caused the problem and how to treat it to the subconscious mind. In your amygdala and this is why Subconscious Freedom Therapy works every time without any conscious intervention, just like a spider phobia the person experiences fear whenever the person sees a spider. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Please don’t disregard this newly developed therapy as ‘quackery’ or too good to be true and at least contact Leigh Skewes and experience this in only a few minutes over the phone because Mental Health and Su***de Rates are too important to ignore.

Emotions
Emotions are programmed and triggered in your amygdala in your brain which is controlled by your subconscious mind.
How can we Eliminate Unwanted Emotions in the Subconscious Mind?
Ever since man has been on this planet, human beings have tried to fix their problems by conscious effort and determination by using ‘Mind over Matter’, while others will go out of their way to avoid ‘Opening up old Wounds’ and still others try to get some relief by the ‘cathartic effect’ of getting it off their chest, but unfortunately, they remain partly or completely emotionally upset.
By trying to fix our problems with our conscious mind we have overlooked the fact that. both our problem and the solution lie in the amygdala in our subconscious mind. We have always thought we can fix our problems with conscious thought because at times we have been able to do this because of the ‘placebo-effect, or the subconscious phenomenon ‘subconscious forgiveness’.
Definition of placebo-effect by the Webster Dictionary.
An improvement in a condition that cannot be attributed to the treatment given.
Why doesn’t the placebo-effect always work?
The main problem here is that the subconscious mind has a subconscious mechanism designed to you to keep safe, and this subconscious mechanism is called dissociation.
The definition of dissociation is.
Dissociation is a concept that has been developed over time and which concerns a wide array of experiences, ranging from a mild emotional detachment from the immediate surroundings, to a more severe disconnection from physical and emotional experiences. The major characteristic of all dissociative phenomena involves a detachment from reality, rather than a false perception of reality as in psychosis.
In its mildest form it is known as daydreaming or ‘highway hypnosis’ where a person when traveling from ‘A’ to ‘B’ and cannot remember all the details of the journey. And at the most severe form of dissociation, it is known as ‘dissociative identity disorder’ or formerly known as ‘multiple personality disorder’.
As dissociation is a subconscious blocker to quick effective treatment a subconscious solution was needed as traditional talk therapies were clearly not working in the treatment of psychological disorders.
The first objective for mankind was to discover, how can we understand, communicate, and change the neuropathways in the subconscious mind?
There have been millions of people who would have tried to understand the subconscious mind since the beginning of time but, as the conscious mind works independently of the subconscious mind. The answer has been illusive to the conscious mind.
This was the dilemma that faced Leigh Skewes when he first approached the monumental task of discovering how to change the neuropathways in the subconscious brain. As Leigh was looking for a sequence that has the capacity to eliminate psycho-trauma in the subconscious mind and this sequence could not involve conscious thinking. So that, any solution must not be by repeating the same mistakes that have been tried in the past by involving the conscious mind.
The next question is?
How can we change unwanted emotions at a subconscious level?
Hypnotherapy was the first consideration.

Unfortunately, traditional subconscious therapies such as hypnotherapy do not always work for the following reasons:

• Firstly, hypnotherapy works by placing suggestions into the subconscious mind by the hypnotherapist, but it is rare that the suggestion relates to the subconscious minds reason for the problem, as only the subconscious mind knows what to treat and how to treat it.

• Secondly, many people who have had a traumatic experience, have had their control taken from them by their subconscious mind. So, it is natural that traumatized person will be determined to stay in control of their conscious thoughts, and they will naturally resist subconscious hypnotherapy. By, often believing their mind will be changed by some subconscious suggestion given to them by a hypnotherapist. These people will resist subconscious suggestion to maintain control.

• Thirdly by dissociation (shut down) at some level the subconscious mind has the capacity as a subconscious defence mechanism to keep the person safe. This is a form of subconscious resistance to hypnotherapy. (Dissociation is explained later)
The next considered option was to look for any subconscious phenomenon or sequence that could be examined that may help in the elimination of unwanted emotions.
The only two known subconscious phenomena that eliminates unwanted emotions in the subconscious mind are the ‘Placebo Effect’, and the subconscious phenomenon of ‘Subconscious Forgiveness’.
The first is question is, what is the placebo effect and how do we duplicate it?
Leigh Skewes had a lightbulb flash that the placebo effect is a ‘Subconscious Intention’, or in other words a, ‘Subconscious Belief’. This was the of a new search of how to duplicate the placebo-effect and how to embed the placebo-effect into the amygdala of the subconscious mind.
So, Leigh Skewes developed a technique of embedding a triple ‘intention to treat’ into the client’s subconscious mind. The key here was to do this without the persons conscious mind’s awareness.
Mr Skewes used the known subconscious phenomenon of using the subconscious mind’s ability the find a solution to a problem that is formulated by the subconscious mind alone. This subconscious phenomenon happens when the subconscious mind is in ‘rapid eye movement’ when a person is asleep, this is when a solution to a problem flashes up from the subconscious mind. This is often in connected to a problem that the person has been concerned about at the time.
The subconscious mind works on automatic pilot and often works without conscious control or awareness, and it is necessary for the subconscious mind to awaken the person enough for the conscious mind to be aware of the subconscious answer to write it down before the conscious mind drifts back to sleep or consciously changes the subconscious answer.
It’s like a spider phobia, the sufferer’s subconscious mind will always produce fear whenever confronted by a spider, with no exceptions no matter what the conscious mind wants.
Leigh Skewes discovered that the Placebo Effect was in fact a ‘Subconscious Belief’ or in other words a ‘Subconscious Intention’.
This being the case Leigh Skewes developed the therapy, ‘Subconscious Freedom Therapy’ (SFT).
This therapy works on embedding a quadruple ‘intention to Treat’ into the subconscious mind by using one’s own intention to treat without conscious awareness.
This subconscious phenomenon is done without conscious awareness, and it is impossible to consciously understand the mechanics of such a phenomenon.
In this manner the subconscious mind was able to duplicate the ‘Placebo Effect’ and by using your intention to treat you can eliminate subconscious dissociation. Dissociation is a subconscious defence mechanism designed to keep the problem.
By eliminating dissociation, the person can be in contact with their emotions, as their emotions are not subconsciously shut down any longer. Now, their emotions are open for treatment.
What is the placebo effect?
Webster Dictionary-Definition of the ‘Placebo effect’
An improvement in a condition that cannot be attributed to the treatment given.
Placebo effect is a subconscious phenomenon.
Leigh Skewes believes that in psychology the placebo effect is a subconscious phenomenon that can improve a condition by using a ‘subconscious intention’ or in other words, a subconscious belief.
This subconscious belief is effective only to the amount of the subconscious phenomenon dissociation and the subconscious phenomenon ‘subconscious forgiveness’ is in play.
Subconscious Dissociation Phenomenon
In psychology dissociation is where a person experiences different degrees of awareness/shutdown. In its most severe form, it is known as ‘dissociative identity disorder’ or formally ‘multiple personality disorder’ and in its mildest form it is known as daydreaming or ‘highway hypnosis’ where a person travels from ‘A’ to ‘B’ without remembering the details of the journey.
Leigh Skewes believes dissociation is a subconscious safety mechanism designed to keep the person safe from ongoing psycho trauma. An example here is the dissociation in the frightened child phenomenon. If a person that has a history has past childhood trauma, the person will revert into the behaviours of a frightened child when the subconscious mind is reminded of the trauma.
Subconscious forgiveness phenomenon is used to change the emotional effect in the person by alleviating emotional hurt by forgiving a perpetrator and is often used in prayer by accessing the subconscious mind and is mostly seen in religion. Due to the connection to the bible where Jesus said, ‘forgive them lord, as they do not know what they are doing’. It is common to hear someone say, ‘you need to do is forgive them in order to feel better’.
If the person is not religious, they often refuse to forgive and will be controlled by their thinking and hurt, and they will be unable to forgive. This will cause ongoing distress.
What we know in psychology?
All your emotions are programmed and triggered in the amygdala in your subconscious mind.
Traditional therapies don’t always work due to dissociation and subconscious forgiveness.
How can we duplicate the placebo effect and eliminate dissociation and subconscious forgiveness in psychology?
Leigh Skewes from Ballarat, Australia has developed a new self-help five-minute audio in which a person is able to eliminate subconscious dissociation and subconscious forgiveness by enabling the person to treat themselves by giving their intention to treat and therefore duplicating the placebo effect.

New Anxiety Therapy
Many people have tried to fix their problems by conscious determination by using ‘Mind over Matter’ while others will go out of their way to avoid ‘Opening up old Wounds’ and still others try to get some relief by the ‘cathartic effect’ of getting it off their chest, but unfortunately, they can remain traumatized by past events.
All emotional responses are programmed and triggered in the amygdala in your brain, in your subconscious mind.
This leaves us with a dilemma, how can we change the neuropathways in the amygdala in the brain?
There have been millions of people from around the world, who would have tried to understand the subconscious mind since the beginning of time. But as the conscious mind works independently of the subconscious mind. The answer has always been illusive to the conscious mind.
The idea is to develop a technique, that can eliminate the negative neuropathways in the brain by eliminating unwanted anxiety triggers.
The question is, how can we change unwanted emotions at a subconscious level?
Hypnotherapy was the first consideration, but unfortunately hypnotherapy does not always work.
The next option is the placebo effect.
Research tells that the placebo-affect works at changing the neuropathways in the amygdala in the subconscious brain, but it is limited to only 16% of the time. The question then, what is the placebo effect? and how can we duplicate it.
It was discovered in Australia, that the ‘placebo effect’, is a ‘subconscious intention’, or, in other words a, ‘subconscious belief’.
A new procedure has been developed in Ballarat, Australia, where a person can embed a quadruple, ‘Intention to treat’, into their amygdala of their brain. This, ‘intention to treat’, has the capacity to eliminate anxiety triggers in the amygdala brain, and this can be achieved without the person’s conscious awareness, but only if the person wants this to consciously change.
For this to change, subconscious roadblocks, such as the subconscious defence phenomena, dissociation, must be eliminated. This is accomplished by the new therapy, ‘Subconscious Freedom Therapy’, again, without the person’s conscious awareness.
