Influenza (flu) is serious, but isn’t as scary if you’re vaccinated. A flu vaccine offers you and your child the best protection from serious illness.

The yearly flu vaccine is free for children aged 6 months to under 5 years, Aboriginal children aged 6 months and over, and children with serious health conditions. It is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over.

If your child is 2, 3 or 4 years old, they can get a free nasal spray flu vaccine in NSW. It is gentle, painless, and needle-free.

Book your family’s flu vaccine today: www.healthdirect.gov.au/nswfluvaccine

🧠 Know the signs of stroke Act FAST (and BE FAST) 🚨

When it comes to stroke, every second counts. The faster you recognise the signs, the better the chance of recovery.
Remember FAST:
F – Face drooping
A – Arm weakness
S – Speech difficulty
T – Time to call 000

You may also hear BE FAST, which adds two important early warning signs:
B – Balance (Sudden loss of balance or coordination, which may manifest as dizziness or difficulty walking)
E – Eyes (Changes in vision, such as sudden blurred or double vision, or loss of vision in one or both eyes)

If you notice any of these signs, don’t wait, call 000 immediately.
Early action can save a life.

💜 International Epilepsy Day 💜

Today our team wore purple to show support for people living with epilepsy and to help raise awareness in our community.

Epilepsy affects people of all ages and can look different for everyone. By increasing understanding, we can help reduce stigma and ensure those living with epilepsy feel supported and safe.

If you’d like to learn more about epilepsy or how to support someone living with it, we’re here to help.

Flu isn't just a bad cold, it can lead to serious illness, especially for young children, older adults, and those with underlying health conditions.

Simple steps can make a big difference in keeping you and your family safe:
Wash your hands regularly
Stay home if you're unwell
Cover coughs and sneezes
Keep your vaccinations up to date

We're running dedicated flu vaccination clinics to make it quick and easy to get protected this season.

You can also receive your COVID-19 vaccine at the same visit - just let our reception team know when booking.
