Clinic reopening Monday 10th March
The clinic at 5/70 River Street will reopen tomorrow and all planned appointments can proceed as scheduled.

Clinic closure due to cyclone Alfred
The clinic will be closed Thursday 6th March and Friday 7th March due to the cyclone. We will be working remotely where possible so please reach out if needed. We anticipate returning on Monday 10th March and will provide further updates if this changes. Please stay indoors and safe and follow emergency advice.

☀️ Hot Weather Compression Tips! ☀️

Wearing compression in summer can be tough, but here’s how to stay cooler and more comfortable:

💧 Hydrate – Drink plenty of water to stay cool inside and out.
❄️ Cool Down – Chill garments in the fridge before wearing.
🌬️ Find Airflow – Take breaks in the shade or use a fan.
🌞 Plan Ahead – Put garments on early before it heats up.
💧 Hydrate – Drink lots of water to stay cool inside and out.
❄️ Cool Down – Keep a spray bottle in the fridge and mist over stockings, then sit in front of a fan or air con.
🌬️ Use Cool Towels – Place cool towels on your neck and face for quick relief.
🏊 Take a Dip – Go for a swim! You don’t need to wear compression in the water.
⛱️ Avoid Overheating – Rest in shaded areas and listen to your body.
👩‍⚕️ Talk to Your OT – If you’re struggling, reach out for more tips and even alternative options to compression.

We are looking for an Allied Health Assistant for a casual position with possibility to become permanent part time in the future.

We are looking for a third year OT student interested in starting a career with us with the potential to be offered a position as a new graduate.
You will have the opportunity to work with client’s in our clinic and in the community in the areas of Aged Care, Disability, Lymphoedema and Wound Care.
Comprehensive training, support and supervision is provided.
