LifeWorks Pilates is run by Alison Lucas and her team of experienced instructors in a brand new light filled studio in Ballina, not far from Lennox Head and Byron Bay. Lifeworks Pilates is dedicated to ensuring that each member receives individual care and attention. We also offer Clinical Pilates (private lessons) which caters for back pain, rehabilitation, prevention of injuries, pregnancy and a range of other musculoskeletal issues. For those new to Pilates, the reformer provides a controlled and supportive environment to build foundational strength. The adjustable resistance allows movements to be tailored to each individual, helping you learn correct technique while moving with control and confidence.

✨ Meet Alicia – Our New Studio Manager ✨

We’re so excited to officially introduce Alicia as the new manager of Lifeworks Pilates!

Alicia brings a deep understanding of client care, movement, and wellbeing to her role. Her background in physiotherapy settings has shaped her strong focus on creating a supportive, welcoming, and professional studio environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Alicia is also an Exercise physiologist and an experienced pilates teacher giving her an amazing ability to understand movement principles and rehabilitation needs.

Many of you will already know Alicia as the friendly face at reception, always ready with a smile. She’s passionate about helping people feel comfortable, supported, and confident in their wellness journey, and is dedicated to ensuring every client has a positive experience in the studio.

Our Story

LifeWorks Pilates is run by Alison Lucas from her purpose built studio set in a relaxing garden environment in Lennox Head between Ballina and Byron Bay. An experienced Pilates instructor with Polestar Pilates Mat Certification and a fully trained registered nurse with a Diploma in Public Health and Certificate 3 in Fitness, Alison is dedicated to ensuring that each member of her small classes receive individual care and attention.
