Dear
I have been reminded that I have been a bit quiet lately, mostly due to moving house, and ensuring a myriad of pets and humans are happily integrated into our new dwelling.
I remain loyal, Mornington Peninsula-based and a Community Service Professional with a deep commitment to advocacy, outreach, and trauma-informed care.
Known for my approachable, open-minded, and non-judgmental nature, I work alongside vulnerable individuals and marginalised groups to advance their interests and uphold their dignity.
With extensive experience in intensive outreach, I bring a compassionate lens to complex client work, including children in the foster care system, grandparents as parents, individuals navigating addiction, grief, and loss, and families involved in litigation.
Iām grateful to practice in my local community, where I offer opportunities to:
ā”ļø Listen without judgment
ā”ļø Hold space for reflection and healing
ā”ļø Share ideas and strategies for growth
I understandāpersonally and professionallyāthat some days are dark, some are lighter, and some are brilliant. I, too, live with anxiety and depression, and as such, I absolutely understand that all of it is valid.
My core strengths include:
- Outreach and engagement with complex clients
- Trauma-informed and culturally aware practice
- Capacity building and 1:1 individual coaching
- Knowledge of local services and systems
- Supervising and reporting on court-ordered contact
- Advocacy for child welfare and safety
My personal interests are:
- True crime documentaries and all music genres
- Wildlife observation, photogra[hy, conservation, and rescue
- Quiet reflection, good food, and my miniature schnauzers
I believe in meeting people where they are, holding space with empathy, and walking alongside them toward safety, stability, and self-determination.
