Your bones are your body’s lifelong foundation, make sure they stay strong enough to support every moment you love.

From bushwalks and backyard cricket to keeping up with the grandkids, healthy bones help you live life on your terms.

Bone density naturally changes as we age, but with the right steps, like a balanced diet rich in calcium, regular weight-bearing exercise, and routine health checks, you can keep your bones strong well into the future.

In Australia, osteoporosis affects over 1 million people, often without early warning signs. The good news? Small, consistent actions today can make a big difference tomorrow.

Let’s start the conversation about bone health in our community, because strong bones mean more adventures, more memories, and more years doing what you love.

This Dementia Action Week, let’s go beyond awareness, let’s take real steps to build communities where people living with dementia feel understood, included, and supported. 💜

Every action counts, from learning the signs to offering a listening ear to making spaces more accessible. These small changes create big differences in the daily lives of people with dementia and their families.

Let’s commit to kindness and understanding, not just this week, but all year round. Because when we stand together, we can make our community truly dementia-friendly.

Sometimes the simplest question can open the biggest door.

R U OK? isn’t just a slogan — it’s a reminder to check in, listen without judgment, and be there for the people around us.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to start the conversation. 💛

Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, and not all skin cancers look the same.
Here’s what you need to know about the three most common types:

☀️ Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC): The most common. Often appears as a pearly bump or red patch. Grows slowly but can be locally invasive.

☀️ Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC): May look like a scaly, crusted sore or thickened patch. Can spread if left untreated.

☀️ Melanoma: The most serious. Can develop in a new or existing mole. Early detection is critical for survival.

Even if a spot doesn’t hurt, itch, or bleed, it could still be skin cancer. At ICO Health Group, our GPs perform skin checks to identify concerning changes early.

Protect your skin. Know what to look for. Get checked.
