What are the bars? The bars are 32 points around the cranium (head) that relate to the different facets of life and where we hold the stress, charge, tension, emotion and judgments that relate to those facets of life. In an Access Bars session, you will experience light touch on the specific bars around your head for around 90minutes. It can be conducted while you are awake, asleep while watching a movie, or talking, just not while listening to music (music is known to hinder the process). For example, if you have been having some communication issues with someone, your communication bar will most likely be very charged resulting in unclear thinking, agitation or overwhelm in regards to that topic. Communication is so much more than the words we say and the text we write! In this situation, running the communication bars would assist in reducing the charge, emotions, and fixed points of view you had about communication with that person, enabling you to approach the situation in a more grounded, open-minded manner and with greater ease and awareness.
