We were happy to hear that the recipe we provided for a home made electrolytes drink was useful !

Thank you to our dietitian Renee for helping us with research and our nutrition facilitator Sarah !

Australia’s 2026 Status of Women Report Card has been released by the Australian Government, giving a snapshot of how women and girls are doing.

Some key findings:

• Women’s workforce participation is rising, but the gender pay gap still exists.
• Men continue to dominate many senior leadership roles.
• Women perform the majority of unpaid care and household work.
• Gender-based violence remains a major issue across Australia.
• Community attitudes toward gender equality are improving, but harmful stereotypes still persist.

The report card is released each year to track progress and highlight areas where further action is needed, particularly in economic equality, safety, and leadership representation.

Understanding these issues is an important step toward creating a more equal society.

As we reflect on the 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence, it’s important to remember that how we speak to someone experiencing violence matters.

Support isn’t about fixing, questioning or advising, it’s about listening, believing, and creating safety.

This reel shares what to say (and what not to say) when someone trusts you with their story.

Because words can either open a door… or close it.
