We are excited to announce a 10-week Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group led by our experienced clinical psychologist Samira Khan!

🔹 What is DBT?
DBT is an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals manage their emotions, cope with stress, and improve relationships. Our program will cover:

✨ Mindfulness: being self-aware and present in the moment (the 'here and now'). It stops the cycle of getting stuck in the past or the future, and instead helps you see, experience and connect with what’s going on around you
✨ Distress Tolerance: learning to understand your emotions in difficult or stressful situations. It involves managing your emotions without using harmful behaviours.
✨ Emotional Regulation: understanding your emotions and learning to have more control over them
✨ Interpersonal Effectiveness: improving your relationships by learning how to ask for what you need. It involves setting boundaries whilst being respectful towards yourself and others.

🔹 Who Can Join?
Anyone above 18 years of age: whether you're looking to enhance your mental health, learn new skills, or support a loved one. All you need to do is be committed to attend each of the 10 sessions.
