The Passing of Our Dear Leader!

With deep sorrow and heartfelt sadness, the Samoan Independent Seventh-Day Adventist Church (SISDAC) announces the passing of our beloved Executive Leader, Pastor Alaimoana Willie Papu, who was called to rest on February 17, 2026, at his home in Māngere, New Zealand.

Pr. Willie faithfully served God with unwavering dedication, integrity, and strong spiritual leadership. Through years of committed service, he nurtured spiritual growth within our SISDAC congregation and provided steadfast guidance to members and leaders alike.

His leadership was marked by humility, wisdom, and a deep love for God and His people. The impact of his service will continue to live on in the lives of those he mentored, supported, and inspired.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, First Lady Deanna Papu and their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We pray that God’s comfort and peace be upon them during this time of mourning.

Funeral service details will be announced in due course. We ask that we remain mindful and respectful to the family in this time of mourning.
