Saturday 15th of November

Today was a glorious, mild morning, where 91 people joined us to get around our beautiful 5km course.

On site to help out, we had Tracey, Julie, Beck, Peter, Simone, Kellie, Tony, Ellan̈. Chris and Colin. Thanks for the help today vollies!

We had multiple PB's from people really improving on previous weeks, well done Jackson, Annie, Polly, Amanda, Sandra, Angus, Archer, Stephanie, Chris and Bridget!

Today we celebrated Amanda, completing her 50th parkrun with us, as well as reaching her PB! Thanks for joining us Amanda!

Our biggest milestone for the day was Paul Buyel, completing 250 parkruns today! Paul has volunteered 64 times over his 8 years parkrunning, and is a key member of our parkrun team. Being here since the beginning of our event in 2017, Paul has been timekeeper 15 times, as well as many other roles across the years. We love to see Paul out on the track encouraging others, as well as running way faster than his years of experience would indicate-a PB of 21.52 is nothing to sneeze at! Great work Paul, we look forward to your next 250 runs 😀

It looks like our track tomorrow will be in peak condition, after the rain tonight, so come on down to parkrun and test it out!

Bannockburn Bush parkrun Event #347

Let me start off by saying (as an esteemed run director may have put in last week’s run report) that Winter was NOT behind us for this event - none the less many people enjoyed the slightly soggy conditions.

Clearly the packed track was good for some - congratulations to those who recorded pb’s.

Congratulations to Cian who not only recorded a pb, but completed his 50th parkrun.

Although not in the infographic - congratulations are also due to Luke Blackley who completed his 25th volunteer. An awesome achievement given his youth!

A special thank you to the vollies who gave their time for the event - it couldn’t be done without you.

Finally - the event director’s Tracey & Julie. They don’t always make it to the run report - but deserve a HUGE thank you to their consistent behind-the-scenes support of all of us. ❤️

LOST AND FOUND
A named asthma puffer was handed in last Saturday. We will hang on to it and return it this coming parkrun. :)
