We are excited to share that Dan and Tara are expecting a new baby arriving in early February 🤰

As a result, Dan’s hours will change throughout February while he supports his family. We anticipate the clinic will be closed from February 9–14th, with reduced hours for the remainder of the month.

If you have an appointment booked in late January or February that needs to be adjusted at short notice, please know Dan will contact you as soon as possible.

All updated hours will be shared on our social media pages as further information on Dan’s availability is known

💡Weekend Seminar Update – Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis

Dan attended a weekend seminar on Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS) — the most common type of scoliosis that develops during growth spurts and early years of life

Some points that may be important to your family;
- The most critical age to have children checked is between 9–11 years old.
- All large curves start small — early detection makes a big difference.
- When scoliosis is picked up early, over 60% of children improve with the right management and monitoring.

With summer coming up and kids spending more time in lighter clothing or swimming, it’s a great time for parents to keep an eye out for:
👀 One shoulder sitting higher than the other
👀 Constant slouching or leaning to one side
👀 Any spine that appears “crooked” or “shifted” to one side, even when your child is sitting or standing straight

If you notice any of these signs, it’s worth getting your child checked — early intervention can make a huge difference
