A big warm welcome to Dr Tony Dique at Banora Point Medical Centre.

Having moved from Brisbane to Tasmania to study medicine, Dr Tony Dique graduated in 2006 with first class honours. He spent his intern and resident years at Ipswich General Hospital. Moving to Monto in the North Burnett Shire in 2009, he proceeded to spend most of the next 13 years in rural medical practice. In 2014, for over 7 years in Biloela he gained skills and experience in skin cancer surgery under the guidance of Dr Richard Tan OAM, as well as working towards completing a Fellowship in skin cancer surgery. Mid 2022 saw Dr Dique follow a seachange to the Tweed region and is looking forward to developing new patient-Doctor relationships within our Practice. Dr Dique’s practice will encompass all the usual aspects of general practice including child and family medicine, shared antenatal care, chronic disease management and skin cancer surgery.

What an overwhelming response from our medical centre community Banora Point Medical Centre. These generous donations of personal hygiene items were donated to the Tumbulgum hall for distribution. Our next drop off will be Friday 11/03 to Murwillumbah. We thank you all for your generosity & community spirit.

If you are 18 years and over and its been 5 months since you received your last primary dose of COVID -19 vaccine, you are eligible to receive a booster vaccine.
Booster doses are not mandatory, however they are recommended to maintain immunity against COVID-19.
