My name is Maxine,
I am an Indigenous Rongoa Māori Practitioner, Rakau (Plant) Medicine Woman, Shamanic Herbalist, Trained Womb Awakening Facilitator and Womb/Hara Massage Therapist with The institute of Feminine arts. I am currently studying in my second year as a Metaphysical Healer with The Kitchen Table Academy of Metaphysics. In addition to this, I also have a background in Holistic Counsell
ing and Mental Health. Working 1-on-1 and facilitating group circles with adolescents and women dealing with a variety of mental health issues including; anxiety, domestic and sexual abuse, bullying and suicidal ideation to name a few. I also work with teens who are on the spectrum and are trying to survive through their own stigmatic attachments. I assist them to create and navigate their own path through life by the implementation of various life lessons and old-fashioned skills. The wisdom gained through my personal journey and the many complementary teachings throughout, having immersed myself amongst a diverse range of teachers from various cultures. Most importantly my knowledge stems from the ancient lore of a traditional Māori healing system, of my Tupuna (Ancestor’s). Where mahi aroha (work and Love) are all infused with healing intentions of aroha (love), rongoa rakau (traditional Māori medicine), takutaku (Ancient Māori prayer), tioata (crystals), mauri (life force energy) and Earth’s elemental Oracle teaching’s. Alongside my own cultural traditional practices, my fusion of modalities is an integration of various other indigenous cultural perspectives and practices to which I have amalgamated within my learnings. This has provided me with an abundance of tools to assist the diverse clientele I work with, to overcome and help heal themselves and to - ignite one's Wairua (life force). I am fiercely devoted to being your loving guide, to facilitate space for all to feel seen, held, and supported as you navigate the realms of self-discovery. Creating a deep connection with one’s own ancestors to help heal and find where you may be stuck on any level, be it physically, mentally, emotionally and/or spiritually, to awaken and embody your true authentic self. I offer you the tools and guidance, transforming fear to love. To be inspired and reconnected. Accompanying you towards the confidence in making empowering changes in your life, so that it mirrors the magnificence within. My goal is to support souls to empower, remember, embody and reclaim who they are. To live a life that is in flow and alignment with their higher selves. As we begin to embody and empower the wisdom within us, we can grow a deeper trust and sense of acceptance towards ourselves. Honouring the inner knowing that we have when we let our intuition lead the way. You may feel unsure of who you are and what you are doing here, as with every new day there are challenges and tasks for us to complete. There is a lesson to be learned, it’s so important to discover how to reconnect with the truth. To come home to yourself and celebrate all that you are.
