📢 Mindful eating can support your wellbeing by helping you tune in to hunger cues, reduce overeating, and improve digestion 🌿

Try implementing small, intentional changes can make a big difference:
⏰ Slow down – take time to chew and savour each bite
📱Minimise distractions – put away screens and focus on your meal
💭 Check in with hunger – pause to assess if you’re truly hungry before eating
🥗 Plan meals – structured eating can prevent impulsive snacking
🔎 Notice your body – observe fullness signals and stop when satisfied

👉 If you’re struggling with consistent weight management or emotional eating, it’s worth consulting a health professional to develop a personalised, sustainable approach!

Satisfy your savoury cravings with these simple Salmon Sushi Cups 🍣🐟, a nourishing, no-roll twist on classic sushi that’s perfect for busy weeknights!

These salmon sushi cups are a clever way to enjoy the benefits of whole food ingredients while keeping things quick, delicious, and nutrient-dense:

🐟 Omega-3 rich: Salmon is naturally high in omega-3 fatty acids (EPA + DHA support brain health, heart health and overall wellbeing).
💪 Protein-packed: Helps support muscle health, satiety, and stable energy levels throughout the day.
🌱 Nutrient-dense simplicity: A combination of rice, salmon, and seaweed brings together key minerals and vitamins in one easy meal.
✅ No-fuss preparation: All the flavour of sushi without the rolling, perfect for simplifying healthy eating during busy weeks.

Made in a muffin tray for the perfect portion, each cup is layered with seaweed sheets, cut into 4's, seasoned rice and fresh marinated salmon, then baked or air-fried for 15 mins until lightly golden and crisp on the edges. Think sushi… but elevated. We marinated ours with teriyaki sauce but you can use what you have on hand.

Top with avocado, cucumber, sesame seeds and a drizzle of soy or spicy mayo if that's your preference, there's no limit to your creativity here!

What’s the difference between SPMs & PRMs? 🤔

These two terms are often used interchangeably, but they’re not exactly the same.

PRMs (Precursor Pro-Resolving Mediators) are the broader scientific category. They describe a family of naturally occurring bioactive compounds involved in the body’s normal physiological processes.

SPMs (Specialised Pro-Resolving Mediators) are a specific subgroup within that family. They’re synthesised by the body from certain polyunsaturated fatty acids, particularly omega-3s such as EPA and DHA.

The simple way to think about it:
PRMs = the broader family 🧬
SPMs = a specialised group within that family 🔬

In other words, all SPMs are PRMs - but not all PRMs are SPMs. ✨
