Sharing some reflection from the last Full Moon in Capricorn on 21 July. This has been sitting incomplete in my kitchen drawer for weeks, and with the encouragement of the brush turkey, it is out now even though it seems meaningless in terms of timing.

There is a mix of messages but the theme here is "to persevere and be malleable in pursuing what we want".

The brush turkey is the center of the show here. With a prominent fan-like tail, he reminds us to hold our heads high and be proud of who we are. This simple-minded bird may look stupid and is sometimes despised for making a mess in the garden, but he is really an embodiment of independence, strength, perseverance, focus and simplicity. The chick has to burrow its way out of half a meter of soil once hatched, and relies on its own instinct to survive without any parental care. When he decides to build his mound, the drive is unstoppable and he works relentlessly until a mound the size of a car with perfect incubation temperature is established.

The Earth invites us to embody the spirit of the brush turkey, defying all odds to turn our ideas and dreams into form. "Know that you can", she said.

The Moon also invites us to expand, to stretch our limits, and to break the ceiling.

To support us through this challenging phase as we move through the resistance, we are asked to simply allow the Water to purify our hearts.

Sharing some thoughts and messages from the last Full Moon in Capricorn we had on 22 June. At the time of posting, the Moon is waning in preparation for a New Moon on 6 July. I struggled with crafting this Full Moon illustration as it felt very different, but decided to share it anyway despite the delay and my resistance throughout the process, as the messages very much relate to our journey in the next 6 months.

The Full Moon was right after the Winter Solstice on 21 June, illuminating all that we thought we couldn't see on the darkest and longest night. I get a strong sense that the Moon wants to come forward to tell us that she is always here for us. While it may seem like the Moon is the light source in the night sky, she reminds us that the light is YOU, and she simply reflects.

As we journey through the winter season with major outer planets Pluto, Saturn and Neptune in retrograde, we are being called to dig deep into our subconscious, pulling out any old blockages that we do not wish to carry on our new path forward. This can be very challenging and uncomfortable, but even in the darkest place, YOU ARE THE LIGHT, the most powerful force that illuminates and cuts through everything.

On a lighter note, we are simultaneously in the process of birthing the new, bringing forward our ideas and dreams. The Earth holds a safe space for us to be whatever we wish to be, and she wants us to not be afraid to make a splash.

Above all, we are being called to make the best of every moment, finding miracles in the mundane, and seeing gifts in the difficulties. There is always light even in the darkest, there is always opportunity even in the most impossible, there is always love even in the nothingness.

YOU ARE THE LIGHT.

Last week on 6 June, we had a nourishing Gemini New Moon, opening us up to fresh opportunities and a renewed sense of self. Here are some messages to support us journeying through this moon cycle.

"Trust yourself" is the main message here. We are being reminded of how far we have come, how we have overcome countless challenges, and how strong and resilient we are. While we may not yet see the full picture of what lies ahead, we are very much encouraged to start spreading our wings, to take the plunge when we are ready, and most importantly, to honour our dreams.

Gemini energy is strong in the cosmic sky, which can leave us feeling scattered and overwhelmed with mental activities. The Earth lovingly calls us to come back to our hearts, to be in our body, and to ground on earth.

The majestic black swan is here to remind us that nothing is impossible. A beautiful tale where in the 17th century before the Europeans set foot in Australia, "black swan" was a phrase used to describe something impossible, as it was thought all swans were white. Just as our native black swans proudly glide across the water, breaking the once-dominant perception that they did not exist, we too can bring forward what we thought we couldn't achieve, as we have an immense power to create what our hearts desire.

A new chapter is here. How are you playing with what shows up for you?

On 9 April, we were presented with a powerful Total Solar Eclipse in the sign of Aries, the trailblazer. This is a midpoint of the Aries-Libra Eclipse Cycle we have been moving through since April 2023, where the doorway to step into our next adventure is now wide open. At the time of posting this, the intensity is fading, the dust has settled, and we now have a clearer picture of what may be in store for us ahead.

This is highly exciting, yet we are still very much in the transitioning phase. We are being called to shake off all that we do not wish to carry forward, to flow towards our next destination with lightness and curiosity. The Earth is lovingly holding us through this speedy wave of change, and we are asked to simply allow the transformation in our physical bodies to take place. The Moon is extending her hands, inviting us to dance with her to the rhythm of our hearts. The Fire also joins the party, reminding us of our unstoppable, fearless, limitless spirit as we ignite the fire in our hearts.

The light-hearted, sun-loving butterflies, freshly emerged from their cocoons, are here to dance with us, showing us the beautiful flowers along our paths that we often overlook.

P/S: As much as I was tempted to introduce a colourful butterfly while crafting this post, I got a sense that it was the humble Common Crow Butterfly we commonly see on the Northern Beaches that wants to come in to support us. These butterflies are slow flyers who love to take their time wandering around and stopping on flowers. They also produce toxins and scents that make them inedible by their predators. Another reminder for us to explore at our own pace, and tap into the unstoppable quality we have within us. See if you can spot them saying hi to you when you are out and about!

A delayed post but sharing it anyway as the information is still very much applicable.

We are moving through the Eclipse Portal, with highly transformative energy on offer, supporting us to take the next leap on our life journey.

In the Southern Hemisphere, we welcomed the Autumn Equinox on 20 March, celebrating the beginning of a new astrological year while simultaneously moving towards seasons of introspection with longer nights. This was followed by a South Node Lunar Eclipse, the Libra Full Moon on 25 March. There is a strong theme of letting go in preparation for the new, as we journey towards the upcoming North Node Solar Eclipse and Aries New Moon on 9 April - a gateway to a new chapter of our journey.

We are being called to connect with our hearts, to BE in our hearts, for the heart is our strongest anchor as we navigate this intense current of change. The Water is supporting us to float and rise above, and it is up to us to release our fear and resistance. With the absolute knowing that we are fully supported, we are being encouraged to ask from our heart space, and be open to receive.

The unapologetic, carefree spirit of sulphur-crested cockatoo is here to accompany us on this journey.
