We’re excited to welcome Karina to our growing Support Coordination team!
Karina brings a unique blend of compassion, dedication, and real world experience to her role.
With an Undergraduate Certificate in Counselling and Mental Health and ongoing studies in Community Services, she is deeply committed to supporting individuals navigating the NDIS.
Her previous work as a Support Worker gave her valuable insight into what truly person centered care looks like.
Combined with her own lived experience supporting family members with disabilities, Karina has a strong understanding of the importance of empathy, trust, and advocacy in the support journey.
Karina is passionate about empowering participants to live their best lives by helping them build confidence, connect with the right supports, and achieve greater independence and choice.
We’re proud to have her on board and know she’ll make a meaningful impact in the lives of those she works with.

Admin Extraordinaire | Team Cheerleader | Remote & Ready
Meet Amy, that’s me! The face behind the posts and the heartbeat behind the keyboard here at My Journey Australia. I’m sure everyone wonders how MJA runs so smoothly, so I thought it was time to officially introduce myself. 😉
🧡 I’ve been part of the MJA family for almost two years, quietly in the background, but since early this year, I’ve stepped into a full time role as the sole Admin Assistant. Basically, I like to think of myself as a bit of an all rounder. Whether it’s scheduling posts, chasing documents, or jumping in to help when things get hectic - I'm your girl.
You’ll find me working remotely (yep, 5 hours away from the main office!), but don’t let the distance fool you. I’m constantly connected with the team, whether I’m troubleshooting behind the scenes, celebrating team wins on socials, or reminding the support coordinators what’s due 😄 (they keep me on my toes, but I return the favour!).
It’s been incredible to watch MJA grow and thrive over the years. I’ve loved seeing our amazing team evolve, step into new roles, and make a real impact every single day. 🤝
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to two beautiful kids who keep me just as busy.
Remote work,? No worries - My desk is wherever my laptop, coffee and a solid 4G signal can reach. 📲 💻 ☕

🌟 Glenn’s Journey: From Struggling to Thriving 🌟
At My Journey Australia, we believe true support is about walking alongside someone on their journey not leading. Glenn’s story is a powerful example of that.
For years, Glenn felt stuck. His support system wasn’t truly listening, leaving him feeling disconnected, unmotivated, and without a clear path forward. His home didn’t feel like home, his routines fell apart, and his mental and physical health suffered.
That all changed when Glenn connected with Jake, his Support Coordinator at My Journey Australia. Jake took the time to understand Glenn’s needs, advocate for his choices, and ensure he had the right supports in place. Jake worked alongside Your Story Community Services to help Glenn regain control of his life.
Now, Glenn is:
🏡 Feeling at home in his living space and embracing daily routines
💪 Prioritising health & fitness with gym and boxing sessions
🍽️ Building independent living skills, from cooking to personal care
🌏 Reconnecting with his community and social life
💼 Exploring employment opportunities for a future with purpose

Glenn’s story proves that choice and control matter. When people are supported, not dictated to, real transformation happens and Glenn is proof that change is possible with the right people and supports. His not just surviving now, His Thriving !

A Rare Moment: Our NSW Team Together! 🧡

It’s not often that our My Journey Australia NSW team is all in the office at the same time, so we had to take the opportunity for a quick photo! (Well, almost everyone, one of our incredible support coordinators was in a meeting but still onsite!)

Our team works timelessly to support participants, and finding even five minutes where no one is on a call or in a meeting to snap a quick picture is nearly impossible. That’s the dedication we bring every day!

Proud of this amazing team and excited for what’s ahead, watch this space!
