Our Training & Mentoring Manager Shavina found out that one of our care givers "Jun" and his family are unsung heroes. Not only is Jun a wonderful caregiver, but he and his family open up their home providing a food pantry three times a week to feed hundreds of families in need. We are running the food drive through July, please feel free to drop by, donate and say hello! Let's see what we can do to help Jun feed hungry families... 3 weeks to go!

Donating food is a great way to support communities in need. Our own "unsung hero" caregiver Jun and his wife have opened a food pantry in their home to feed hundreds of families. The need is much great now, from opening their doors 1x / week, they are now providing 3x / week!

We decided to introduce a food drive for July to support Jun with his mission to continue providing for people in the local community.

In 3 days this is the amount of food our carers have brought in 🤩

You are also more than welcome to donate and drop off during office hours 8-4pm, M-F.

📅 IMPORTANT UPDATE: Support at Home Program​

The Australian Government has postponed the new Support at Home program from July to 1 November 2025.​

What is Support at Home? This program replaces Home Care Packages, offering quarterly budgets from $11,000-$78,000 annually to help older Australians live independently at home for longer.​

Current HCP recipients will transition to equivalent Support at Home packages. Dovida will continue supporting you through this change.​
