Feb 13, 2023, first Parkinson's patient to be administered a stem cell-based transplant in a clinical trial.
The patient suffered from moderate Parkinson's disease (PD) and the transplant included a human stem cell-derived nerve cell product STEM-PD and was used at Skåne University Hospital in southern Sweden.
