🏠 NEW LOCATION 🏠

We’re so thrilled to be in our new shop at 148 Boundary Road Bardon.

Pete and Ali are loving their new bigger and better podiatry clinic setup and we know you’ll love how easy it is to park to get to your appointment, or pick up a pair of shoes.

We are located across the road from Rainworth State School, just near the zebra crossing. There is plenty of off street parking in Boundary Road or Selby Street, particularly outside school drop off and pick up times.

We’re still adding a few finishing touches to the shop, but look forward to seeing you in our new location soon.

🚨👮‍♀️🚨 Nothing says “Happy Monday” like getting an early morning phone call to say that you’ve been burgled!

At approximately 6.10-6.30am this morning (Monday 18th July), a man has smashed a side window and stolen a large number of mens Asics shoes from our shop at 108 Latrobe Terrace, Paddington.

The man was seen by many witnesses loading the boxes into his late model silver dual cab ute before speeding off down Morris Street in Paddington.

A huge thanks to those who have already come forward with information and to the police for arriving so quickly and taking fingerprints. 🔍

If anyone else has any information (or even better - some footage!), we’d love to hear from you. Thanks for your help!

Casual job position for first or second year podiatry or physio student.

Shoes Feet Gear is looking for a casual to join our team in our Running Shoe and Sports Podiatry Clinic in Paddington.

The role involves running shoe fitting and podiatry clinic reception duties. All training provided. Excellent opportunity to gain cutting edge footwear training as well as an insight to the running of a sports podiatry clinic.

Our 4th year students have graduated so we are looking for first or second year students to be trained up and join the team.

Choosing shoes for back to school can be hard work! Standing in front of a wall of shoes, which ones do you choose? Invariably you end up choosing a pair based on their colour, right? For some kids, that’s absolutely fine! However, if you want the best value for money, here are some things to consider:

1. Does your child complain of any foot, ankle, shin or knee pain?
2. Does your child’s foot pronate?
3. How active is your child? Are they playing multiple sports or just wearing their shoes for PE lessons each week?
4. What is the intended use of the shoes? On a court? On grass? Are you looking for durability or traction?

Some other considerations include finding the right fit to accommodate varying widths (some brands suit some feet better than others) and also budget.

If your child suffers from any kind of foot or ankle pain, such as shin splints or sore heels, it is best to have their pain investigated by a podiatrist.

If you’re just looking for some general footwear fitting advice, our retail staff (who are all current Podiatry students at QUT), can help make choosing the correct shoe for your child less overwhelming. Just pop in-store at any time for footwear fitting.
