Influenza Vaccine Program 2026

You can book via HotDoc ( link below which will take you directly to our vaccination appointments ) or by phoning 85882040. We ask all patients to complete their influenza consent form which is available via Hotdocs following you making a booking.
This year various clinics are being offered daily.
🏥Government Funded FREE vaccinations for those ages 65 and over.
🏥Government Funded FREE vaccinations for those aged 5-64years who have a chronic health condition that meet the governments criteria.
🏥Government Funded FREE for children aged 6 months to 4 years, these appointments are available with our family flu clinic where various members can be vaccinated. Please call our clinic to book a family flu vaccination appointment. The state government is funding the nasal spray influenza vaccination (FluMist) for children aged 2 to less than 5 years and this will be available.
🏥Private Flu Vaccine, for those patients who do not not qualify but would like to purchase a vaccine.

Depending on your criteria you will booked into the appropriate clinic and advised of the instructions to attend.
As part of the 2026 Annual Influenza Program people most at risk of severe influenza and its complications are eligible for FREE influenza vaccine under the National Immunisation Program.
Eligible groups for a free vaccine for 2026 include:
• Pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy)
• Children aged 6 months to less than five years
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over
• People aged 65 years and over
• Adults and children experiencing homelessness
• People aged from 6 months to 64 years with certain medical conditions, these medical conditions include:
- cardiac disease
- chronic respiratory conditions (including severe asthma)
- chronic neurological conditions that increase the risk of respiratory infection (including hereditary and degenerative central nervous system diseases and seizure disorders)
- immunocompromising conditions (including immunocompromised due to disease or treatment)
- diabetes and other metabolic disorders
- renal disease
- haematological disorders (including haemoglobinopathies)
- children aged 6 months to 10 years on long term aspirin therapy who are at increased risk of Reye syndrome following influenza infection.
For those that do not qualify we have a Private flu clinic, these clinics are for patients who are not eligible but choose to purchase an influenza vaccine.
