You may have noticed that the lovely Lucy is in front desk at the moment. Lucy is a local studying Law and biomedicine in preparation for a fabulous career somewhere other than IFMC! Lucy is filling in over the summer as Chris Varker does from time to time and Deb has had a family loss and is taking a bit of time!

As a very proud BULK BILLING clinic we now offer Telehealth or phone consultations at the doctors discretion.
Christmas hours will be posted shortly however we will be around this year throughout the break for any emergencies.
Dr Cameron is now completing his rural generalist training to be a specialist GP which is not only huge for him but also for our little community. Don’t be surprised if you see him in the emergency department at Wangaratta.
Thank you to each and every single person who has supported us for another year. Please check on your neighbours and if anybody needs something they are to shy to share flick me a message and I’ll see if we can help.

As the cold weather rolls in we are seeing more and more influenza especially in children. It’s not too late to get your vaccination please think about protecting yourself and the children it can be a very nasty illness.
Also we are pleased to be involved with the National Lung Cancer Screening program rolling out July 1st book in for a chat with Helen to discuss risk factors and a free CT low dose scan if eligible.
As of the 1st of July all care planning items will be changing and a lot more people will be able to access Medicare allied health providers at a discounted rate due to the Medicare review initiatives once again come and have a chat and we can see what eligibility you have.

Influenza vaccinations are now available at the clinic for all age groups.
No appointment necessary but preferred.
Every morning from 1000am home visits are available on request.

Influenza is prevalent within our community, every single day I have patients testing positive some with Covid and influenza. I cannot stress enough that there is a vaccine available for all ages for influenza available at the clinic.
Please consider vaccination. The influenza vaccination only lasts around 90 days !!! If you had it early this year consider a second dose. If you have chronic airways disease consider a second dose if you are having chemotherapy consider a second dose.

We are having a break please call 0458772260 if you need urgent help with a clinic problem. The UPCC for emergency illness is at white box rise wodonga and they bulk bill open 7 days please only for if it’s an emergency.
We have plenty of influenza vaccine for all ages and as the season continues to be a very challenging one if you require an injection please book the week of the 12/8. A flu injection will only cover you for 90 days.
There are so many respiratory viruses circulating at the moment and they are hanging on for anything from 4 to 8 weeks. Please wear a mask if you are sick and keep your kids home if they are sick.

Influenza vaccinations available every morning - please consider vaccination its going to be a horrible influenza season and its already started. Wash your hands and wear a mask if sick.

Covid is also rampant, even if you test negative and a person in your household is positive please use common sense and don't go out in public without a mask in case you are carrying the virus or shedding after an undetected infection.

Covid Omicron XB.1.5 5 vaccination will be available on the 16th of December for one week only.
This vaccine is specifically for this variant and is not a booster.
There is plenty of covid around with people being infected daily. The antivirals are ineffective against this variant and were made for the original strains. Happy to do home visits if I have enough interest. Please call the clinic 0260267333 0458772260
