Health at the Heads are looking for a permanent part time receptionist to join the team. Past experience is not necessary however will be looked upon favourably. More importantly you will need to have great communication skills and the ability to work within a team. Work days will be Tuesday and Thursday with the ability to cover holiday leave of colleagues infrequently. Medispa’s reopening is a bit further down the road than we’d have anticipated with the recent government updates, we’ll keep you posted on any changes and how they will impact my return to work.
My thoughts are with the businesses struggling with the impacts of these announcements.
This is a challenging time for every community, kindness and consideration hopefully is at the forefront of everyone’s thoughts and actions.

My day started at 8 with an almond chi from my first client and ended at 830 with flowers from my last client, so while busy it’s been great!
Thanks to my lovely clients for your support, thanks to our receptionists for helping make my job easier and forgiving me when I muck up the till.

Happy international Nurses Day!
What a diverse, interesting, challenging and rewarding career it’s been so far for me with much more to come.
In keeping with the Victorian Government update Medispa is unable to offer in clinic treatments at this stage. We will keep you updated with changes to restrictions as they occur meanwhile register your interest on our waiting list and we will be in contact with you soon to provisionally schedule an appointment.

COVID 19 Update
- PHYSIOTHERAPY service hours have returned to 6 days a week 👍
- PODIATRY services return as of Friday 15th May 👏
- MEDISPA services will be considered for recommencement following federal government review of current social distancing measures this Friday, and state government review next Monday 🤞

First of all thank-you to our wonderful Barwon Heads community for their great efforts in reducing the risk of transmission of COVID 19. It only works when everyone does the right thing - a team effort. Hopefully there will be some relaxing of some restrictions in the coming week which will be fantastic (maybe some golf ⛳️ and fishing 🎣 as well as catching up with parents and children). However certain infection minimisation strategies will remain in place so please continue to adhere to these so we can move towards more familiar social interaction going forward.

As a health service practice we are gradually returning to normal activity including the resumption of our Podiatry services, but with ongoing preventative virus transmission measures. It is important to continue to look after all facets of your health so you can be the best you can be. We will continue to help you with your physical health issues in whatever way we can. Please give us a call to see how we can assist you in a way you feel comfortable with - whether that be in person or over the phone by video chat. There are now rebates available for physiotherapy Telehealth via Medicare Care Plans and also through many Private Health Insurers.

So keep exercising, wash your hands regularly, maintain social distancing where able and stay healthy.

Update on recommencement of Medispa services, at this stage I am offering a waiting list for interested clients however until I’m advised our current restrictions have changed to allow me to practice then I am only able to offer virtual consultations and the range of products from .
