📢 New Billing Update at BTHC

We’re pleased to let our community know that we are now offering mixed billing for GP consultations.

👶 Children aged 0–11
👵 Patients aged 65+ with a valid Aged Care Pension Card

These patients may have their weekday GP consultations fully covered by the Medicare rebate when registered with MyMedicare and one of our BTHC GPs.

📅 Available Monday – Friday

Please note:
• Procedures and additional practice fees are not covered by Medicare, and fees are still applicable.
• Eligibility requires MyMedicare registration with one of our doctors.
• New patients and all other patients are welcome (private fees apply).

Bassendean Total Health Care is pleased to introduce Dr William Taylor to the community. Now offering appointments Monday to Friday from 8am. Book online via our website www.bthc.com.au (Health Engine and HotDoc compatible) or call 08 9278 1805.

Dr William Taylor grew up in rural Australia and developed an early interest in healthcare. He completed undergraduate degrees in Clinical Science and Chiropractic at RMIT University, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Therapeutics from Cardiff University School of Medicine and a Master’s degree in Headache and Pain Management from the University of Edinburgh. He later obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Western Australia, making him an alumnus of three internationally recognised medical schools.

Dr Taylor has worked as a medical practitioner at St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals and Northam Hospital, gaining broad experience across both metropolitan and regional healthcare settings.

He has a particular interest and advanced training in headache disorders and pain management, including migraine and complex chronic pain conditions. He also enjoys providing comprehensive care across all areas of general practice, with additional interests in paediatrics and preventative health.

Dr Taylor is a member of the Australian Medical Association (AMA), the Australian & New Zealand Headache Society (ANZHS), and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Donna, their five children, and their growing number of grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and pickleball.
