Clients can be really hard on their wheelchairs. Sometimes from dragging and twisting the wheelchair frame over the ground to get in or out of the car. Sometimes they fly out of the back of the ute. Or sometimes more durability is just required.

Did you know that Wild West Wheelchairs can apply bedliner to the frame, backrest, footplate, part of the frame, push rim, etc. This bedliner will make the wheelchair nearly indestructable.

Things are not always what they seem.
Meet Darren.
Darren is sitting in his brand new Offcarr Wheelchairs Heka. Now, if you look closely it looks like the seat depth is too short and the centre of gravity is too far back. However, in this case this is exactly what he wanted.
Darren's old wheelchair was too tippy for him and the frame was much longer, making transport more difficult.
This new Heka has basic foam cushion (Darren has sensation), quad release axles and a multi adjustable footplate, coated with Line-X coating for grip and durability.

Last week our Chris was in Esperance to deliver this Scout Mobility X12 to Fiona.
This X12 has all the power functions, , Drypower batteries and a Valen charger.
Why the special mention of the batteries and the charger? Well, over the years we have worked out that these Drypower batteries in combination with the Valen 8A charger gives the client best combination of range, charging capacity and battery durability.

We were asked to make this old Quickie wheelchair into a lawn-bowls-green-friendly wheelchair. We added some fat tyres, big castor wheels and wider forks… and Bob is your uncle!

Another day, another stop for Chris on his county run. This time in a small country town in the wheatbelt.
This is Sylvia. Sylvia loves her home and her town. She lives independently in her own house for many years by now. Chris delivered to her a Real 9100. With this chair Sylvia can independently move through the house without having the risk of falling. This chair also goes up and down electrically making it much easier to get in and out of it, but also to look in those pots and pans on the stove top.

This has been a long process in the making, but Colin finally has his Quasar with .ch . Colin loves to go fishing and go into the bush. Now with the SwissTrac and offroad wheels (he even has a set of "fat tyre" wheels) nothing will stop him! Happy exploring Colin!

We can't get enough of this beautifull Matte Green. This time on a Heka.
Black rimmed rear wheels, black rimmed castor wheels, Curve L push rims, black composite brakes, cushion, black Marathon Plus tyres, Italian style, Samekh backrest, beautiful welding and a double curved support for the cambar... what a package!

This week we had our open day. It was a great success.
In fact it was such a success that in all the excitement one of our visitors has lost their key and (what looks like) garage opener.
