Granite Transformations is an Australian owned company operating for over 25 years. With offices Australia wide it is the largest national kitchen remodelling supplier in Australia.
Granite Transformations Central Coast is based at Berkeley Vale on the NSW Central Coast. We use a 6.3mm granite overlay to cover existing and new benchtops. Benchtops, kitchen makeovers to brand new kitchens. Bathroom vanities. Laundry tops & cabinetry.
Due to expansion Granite Transformations is seeking to appoint a full-time cabinet maker/joiner to join our team.
The ideal applicant will be an all-rounder who can work independently and as part of a team, with an eye for detail and quality. The position involves both factory and onsite work. Projects are based on the Central Coast.
The successful candidate will preferably possess all or the majority of the following skills:
Skills, experience and attributes:
• Installing cabinetry, granite benchtops, kitchen makeovers.
• Ability to read & interpret plans and specifications
• A good eye for detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to think outside the box and problem-solve
• Kitchen experience desirable, but not essential
• Possess strong inter-personal skills
• Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Ability to communicate with customers
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Understanding and commitment to WHS & safe work practices
• Experience using a variety of cutting tools
• Have a professional attitude and a sound work ethic
• Ability to work to schedules & time frames
• Ability to prepare & assemble cabinetry unsupervised
• Current manual driver's license – company vehicles provided
• Construction Induction (White Card)
As a Cabinet Maker / Joiner / Trades Assistant your role will consist of ensuring quality manufacture of joinery on the factory floor and installation on site.
