During my 10 years in the Health and Fitness Industry, I have specialised with two key demographics; Mum's and the over 55βs. I have developed a love and passion for these amazing people in our society. One group raising the next generation and the other, inspiring past generations with their knowledge and wisdom. Being a mother of 2 young boy's I understand the physical and emotional impact bearing and raising children has on us. I began my journey into motherhood at 38, having my second at 41, making me a 'geriatric' mother in the eyes of the medical world. However, no matter your age, you can keep your bodies and mind strong & healthy during and after pregnancy. It just takes a little TIME and love from YOU! And knowing the right way to nourish your body. Retirement can be a difficult time for people, itβs a dramatic change to your lifestyle. A new focus becomes essential and what better time than now to focus on YOU? With parents and clients in their 70's I have seen the impact that age has on the human body. But more so is the pressure of maintaining physical activity as we age along with the added mental and emotional health. Much enjoyment from life comes from still being able to do the activities we all love - tennis, yoga, skiing, traveling, gardening, to name a few. Modern research is showing just how important physical activity is as we age and through that we can delay the impact that aging has on our body.
