🎉BEV’S RETIRING!!🎉

After 28 wonderful years at Go Vita Batemans Bay, I’ve decided it’s time to retire and begin a new chapter. It’s a bittersweet moment, but I leave with no regrets—only deep pride, gratitude, and countless amazing memories.

Watching the business grow has been incredibly rewarding. Expanding the store during the GFC was a big gamble, but it paid off. Joining the Go Vita group was another milestone; our store became a flagship within the network. Navigating the bushfires and Covid alongside our community remains one of my proudest achievements.

There’s been plenty of fun too! From health retreats and workshops to our much-loved Gala Days (especially the 25th Birthday celebration!). I’ve also loved educating our community through our newsletters and weekly chats with Kimmi on 2EC.

What I’m most proud of, though, is creating a true community store - a place where people felt they belonged. That spirit came through clearly during our toughest times.

None of this would have been possible without our incredible team—Marianne, Katie, Sofia, Rosie, Sue, Donna, Sophie, and Wendy. Their support, dedication, and love for the store have meant everything.

As many know, we sold the store 10 months ago. Marianne is now taking the reins as Manager, and Sofia will continue the newsletters. You’ll also still hear weekly chats with Kimmi - now from Sofia and Marianne.

To our amazing customers—thank you. I will miss you dearly. Tomorrow will be my last Gala Day, so pop in and say goodbye. We’ll be celebrating with our Christmas in July Sale, treats, and, of course, Christmas cake!
