On the eve of Australian Athletics Championships in Perth, I need to congratulate my athletes who competed over the past few weeks at NSW Juniors.

We have seen many PB’s!!

These have resulted in a LANSW state record...Adelaide, as well as podium finishes (also first timers on a state podium) Will C, Kobe, and Eliza. We have also seen PB’s resulted in qualifying times for Nationals....Ania and Dylan.

As well as the field athletes who come along and condition with me who are always kicking goals with consistent podium finishes Byron, Savannah, Ash, Kiara and Arden (credit to your field coaches!).

Some early National Qualifiers!!

Congratulations to Will and Dylan who have both qualified for the 400m in Perth during the NSW All Schools Championships.

Both of these boys have run big PB’s to qualify.

There is plenty happening in the next school holidays.

In the Western Plains and Western Ranges, we have a great opportunity to meet Youcef Abdi.

Youcef is a Dual Olympian over 3000 Steeplechase and Commonwealth Games Medalist over 1500m.

Make the most of the opportunity to learn from Youcef as well as having the opportunity for a hit out at the mini meet before the school athletics rep season starts again.

You have the option of clinic and mini meet, or just clinic or mini meet.

You do not have to registered with LANSW to register.
