We’re pleased to let you know that our practice has moved from mixed billing to bulk billing as of tomorrow morning!

This means that eligible Medicare card holders will now have their standard consultations fully covered, with no out-of-pocket costs for most appointments.

Our commitment to providing high-quality, accessible healthcare to our community remains our top priority, and we’re proud to make visiting your GP more affordable for our patients.

Macquarie Family Medical Centre is excited to welcome Dr Mary Ann Munoz to the team! Dr Munoz is taking appointments for new and existing patients to Macquarie Family Medical Centre.

Dr Munoz is an experienced general practitioner with more than a decade of clinical experience in Australia and a strong specialist background in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. Mary completed her medical Degree in Manila and then went on to complete her specialist training at the Veterans Memorial Medical Centre in the Philippines.

After moving to Australia, Dr Munoz worked at both Wollongong Hospital and Westmead Hospital, building a broad clinical foundation. In 2011, she transitioned
into general practice, training and working in Rural and regional communities, where she developed a deep understanding of community health and continuity of care.

Her clinical interests include chronic disease management, women’s, men’s and children’s health, mental health and preventative medicine.

Dr Munoz strongly believes in empowering patients to take charge of their health through early intervention, education, and active living. Outside of medicine, she
enjoys dancing, swimming, running and walking, and promotes healthy lifestyle habits into her daily practice.

Mary she speaks English and Tagalog.

Staying up to date with breast screens is our jam—don't skip it. 🥭🥭 🎵

If you're aged 50-74 years, screening every two years is the best way to find cancers when they're smaller and more easily treated.
