Blooms The Chemist Armada Bathurst has a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Part-time/Casual Pharmacy Assistant for a fun, dynamic and busy team environment! This role will suit anyone who is friendly, self-motivated and customer focused.

Retail experience is preferred, this is not essential, as training will be provided.

Applicant MUST be available to work Saturday and Sunday.

In this role, you will support the pharmacy team by providing a great customer experience for each of our customers, by providing advice and ensuring they receive exceptional service.

Your role will focus on:
• Actively assisting customers by providing service and product information
• Having an eye for detail and accuracy
• Organising and maintaining the cleanliness of the store
• Refilling stock and creating displays as required
• Efficient register service

We want to promote an amazing company that’s making a difference!

Did you know medical blister packs can't be recycled in your normal bins? This is due to them being made of mixed materials such as plastics and aluminium and needing specialised equipment to separate these materials.

So instead of recycling them most people are putting these into our general waste bins because they don't know what to do with them, which means hundreds of MILLIONS of blister packs are going into landfills.

BUT there is a way for these to be recycled!

Pharmacycle is a program that collects blister packs to be recycled properly!

Simply collect your blister packs and take them to your nearest Blooms the Chemist who has a stand to put your packs into and they will be sent off to be correctly recycled.

What an easy thing to do that would make such a huge impact!
