“With your hands, honey. If you do it with your mind instead of relieving the pain, it toughens even harder.”

“With your hands grandma?”

“Yes, our hands are the antennae of our soul. If you move them; knitting, cooking, painting, playing or sinking them into the ground, you send care signs to the deepest part of you and your soul lights up because you’re paying attention to it. Then signs of pain will no longer be necessary.”

“Hands are really that important?”

“Yes my daughter. Think of babies: they start to know the world through the touch of their hands. If you look at the hands of old people, they tell you more about their life then any body part. Everything that is done by hand is said to be done with the heart. Because it’s really like this: hands and heart are connected. TO THE WOMAN WHO IS SLOWLY FADING AWAY...

To the woman who has lost her spark.
To the woman whose get up and go, has well and truly gone.
This is for you.
This is to remind you, that you don’t have to be everything to everyone, every day.
You didn’t sign up for that.
Remember when you used to laugh? Sing?
Throw caution to the wind?
Remember when you used to forgive yourself more quickly for not always being perfect.
You can get that back again.
You really can.
And that doesn’t have to mean letting people down or walking away.
It just means being kinder to you, feeling brave enough to say no sometimes.
Being brave enough to stop sometimes.
And rest.
It starts the moment you realise that you’re not quite who you used to be.
Some of that is good, some of that is not.
There are parts of you that need to be brought back.
And if anyone in your life is not okay with that… they are not your people. Your people will be glad to see that spark starting to light up again.
So, if you have been slowly fading away my friend, this is the time to start saying yes to things that bring you joy and no to things that don’t.

It’s really pretty simple.

that we will naturally turn to and surrender to Truth itself - and become more deeply and heartfully invested in, and devoted to That alone.

Only then,
does the true Life, does true Living begin. ❤

For those of you on the spiritual path,
I have a secret.
When you finally sit in all the ayahuasca ceremonies,
When you complete your 16th vision quest,
Have done countless rituals,
and fasted for 10 days...
The answer is: come back to earth and do the work. Right here.
Where you're at.
And with what you have in front of you.
Be a good human.
Be a good friend.
Serve those who have less than you.
Protect the earth.
Protect innocence.
Start with what is innocent inside of you.
Be a good human.
Be kind. Be honest.
Be humble. Forgive yourself.
Yes it is important to heal.
Yes it is important to gain bigger perspective.
But don't get lost in the lust of always wanting something more.
Don't yoke your ego to your spirituality.
Every guru has his folly.
Don't be so quick to give over your power.
Any true teacher will lead you to your own power.
Any worthwhile medicine will heal you until you don't need it anymore.
Don't let your path to liberation become a trap.
Do the work. Be a good human.
You don't have to try so hard to be perfect.
Your mistakes are the greatest teacher you will ever have.
Your love is the most valuable gift you will ever give.
You can relax.

"It was not witches who burned.

It was women.

Women who were seen as

Too beautiful
Too outspoken
Had too much water in the well (yes, seriously)
Who had a birthmark
Women who were too skilled with herbal medicine
Too loud
Too quite
Too much red in her hair
Women who had a strong nature connection
Women who danced
Women who sung
or anything else, really.

ANY WOMAN WAS AT RISK BURNING IN THE SIXTEEN HUNDREDS

Sisters testified and turned on each other when their babies were held under ice.
Children were tortured to confess their experiences with “witches” by being fake executed in ovens.
Women were held under water and if they float, they were guilty and executed.
If they sunk and drowned they were innocent.

Women were thrown off cliffs.

Women were put in deep holes in the ground.

The start of this madness was years of famine, war between religions and lots of fear. The churches said that witches, demons and the devil did exist and women were nothing but trouble. As we see even today, there is often a scape goat created, and the chaos escalated in Sweden when the Bible became law and everything that did not line up with what the church said became lethal. The Bible fanaticism killed thousands of women.

Everything connected to a women became feared, especially her sexuality.

It became labelled as dark and dangerous and was the core of the witch trials through out the world.

Why do I write this?

Because I think the usage of words are important, especially when we are doing the work to pull these murky, repressed and forgotten about stories to the surface. Because knowing our history is important when we are building the new world. When we are doing the healing work of our lineages and as women. To give the women who were slaughtered a voice, to give them redress and a chance of peace.

Sometimes growth does not happen in tandem, and when one person changes, it can disrupt the familiar rhythms of a relationship. That doesn’t have to spell disaster. It can be an invitation for the other person to grow as well.

The only thing is... that is not in your control. If things devolve to full on stress and disrespect, it is important to know what works for you, and what crosses a line. There are times when taking a stand for yourself is the only way to move forward. Though, you cannot control how the other person will react, you can make choices that give you (and potentially both of you) the room to grow.

Remember you have a well of inner strength inside of you; realize how valuable and wonderful you are, and stay true to you. You alone have the power to decide who deserves your heart.
