Over the years, pop culture has shaped how we view neurodiversity and autism. But awareness doesn’t always mean understanding. Many Autistic people still face barriers—including an unemployment rate of around 30%!

We have a full-time Intake Officer position available based at our head office in Bathurst. In this full-time role, you will be the first point of contact for individuals and carers seeking support services at Glenray.

Key responsibilities include:
🌟 Prepare accurate quotes and service agreements aligned with NDIS funding
🌟 Renew and track existing participant service agreements
🌟 Guide prospective participants through intake and service options
🌟 Maintain up to date knowledge of NDIS funding and services available
🌟 Develop positive relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders

It's been another big week at Glenray!

Our Lifestyle & Learning Centre has been full of creativity, skill building and plenty of smiles. This week, our participants have been:
🎨 Getting started on their Waste2Art creations
🐴 Enjoying a visit (and lots of pats!) at Croftdown
🎶 Singing their hearts out at choir

Our day program is all about building skills, confidence and meaningful connections; all while having fun.

Footy fever hit Bathurst over the weekend! 🏉

Our participants headed along to the big clash between the Penrith Panthers and the Cronulla Sharks at Carrington Park.

From cheering in the stands to meeting some of their footy heroes, it was an unforgettable weekend and plenty of fun was had by all!

Recently, our participants travelled to Parkes to compete in the annual Currajong Swimming Carnival. The day was packed with a range of races and activities where everyone was a winner; making memories and cheering on our friends.

Thank you Currajong Disability Services for such a fun event, we look forward to participating again next year!

From soaring above the valley on the Scenic Skyway to wandering through the lush rainforest boardwalks, every moment was packed with incredible views and big smiles. What a day to remember!

Yesterday our participants took part in Perfect Storm's 'Hoops for All program'. The whole day was packed with fun, laughter and plenty of skill-building action. From dribbling and shooting to passing and creative ball maneuvers, every participant found their own way to get involved.

With a fantastic mix of abilities on the court, it was amazing to see everyone participating in a way that suited them; proving basketball really is for all.

A huge thank you to Perfect Storm for organising such an inclusive and energetic event. We can’t wait for the next one! 🧡

Just last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our newest Glenray GAP year students! Having completed their induction, these students are now ready to dive into their practical learning experiences.

This marks the second year of this program, and we are eager to see how they flourish over the coming 12 months as they work towards achieving a Certificate III. Stay tuned for more updates!
