I am a Naturopath and Nutritionist who offers face-to-face and online consultations. All the information I provide is backed up by current research.

Consultations: I am available for face-to-face consultations in Bathurst, NSW at Freeform Health. I spend an hour with you to get to the root cause of what is going for you and prescribe diet and lifestyle advice, herbal medicine and nutrients. Workshops: I run workshops on a variety of topics related to health and well being to help you put into practise healthy habits in a really easy, sustainab

le and down-to-earth way. My interactive workshops will make lifestyle changes realistic and beneficial for you and your family! Podcast: 'Natural and Practical' - This is the podcast where we talk about all things natural medicine with easy, practical solutions that you can implement in your day to day lives to help you thrive. Gabbie is a qualified Naturopath and Radiation therapist and Miriam is a qualified Naturopath and Nutritionist. Recipes: I regularly upload and provide tried and tested recipe's that are generally quick, easy and healthy for you and your family! I don't emphasize calorie counting, I simply care about cooking with whole foods that have had the least processing possible...

Blogs: I cover a variety of different relevant topics, from what kinds of foods to eat and avoid, to how the food system works and how to avoid being fooled by current health fads.

✨ Health Fund Update ✨

Great news — a number of Australian health funds are currently supporting rebates for eligible Naturopathy and Nutritional Medicine services through extras cover plans. If you have extras cover, you may be able to claim for your consultations depending on your level of cover and policy inclusions.

The best way to improve your way of eating is to get rid ❌ of anything that doesn't align with your goals from your fridge and pantry.

If you're keeping food items so that it doesn't go to "waste" and you don't want to throw it out, aren't you just treating your body like a trash can? 🗑️

Meal planning is the KEY 🔑 to success when it comes to eating well, but so often I hear that people find it difficult to find the time. Here are some ideas for pockets of time you can use to write out your weekly meal plan and shopping list 📝

1. When you're a passenger on a long drive 🚗 or train trip 🚆
2. Waiting at the doctor's 🏥
3. During a child's extracurricular activity 🏀
4. On your lunch break at work 🍴
5. If you’re a parent who is nap trapped 😴

‼️ BONUS tip - take a photo of your fridge, freezer and pantry so that you can remind yourself of what groceries you already have while writing your plan and shopping list.

Big news for natural healthcare in Australia 🌿

From 1 April 2026, private health funds will once again have the option to offer rebates for naturopathy consultations under extras cover.

After several years of exclusion, this change means some Australians may be able to claim back part of the cost of their naturopathic care through their health insurance.

Each health fund will decide whether they include naturopathy, so it’s worth checking with your provider to see what’s available.

A positive step forward for integrative, preventative healthcare. ✨

📢I’m back to clinical practice 📢

Since welcoming my baby boy into the world, I will be back on deck offering face-to-face consultations from Monday 12th January.

While I have been on leave, I have expanded my nutritional knowledge through formal study as well as lived experience in the following areas:

🤱🏼Breastfeeding nutrition, low milk supply

Weight loss is a really sensitive topic. Rarely is overeating for the sake of it the cause of weight gain and obesity, but there is often an underlying emotional or psychological factor. Long-term, sustainable weight loss is often about addressing the underlying emotional or psychological factors that might be driving unhealthy eating habits, rather than just focusing on willpower or restrictive diets.

If you have been on a journey towards weight loss and feel like you’re getting nowhere, consider chatting with a counsellor or psychologist to help you get to the ROOT cause of overeating. Eating is such a common stress-relief strategy, but there are so many other ways of dealing with stress that can be workshopped and brainstormed with a professional :)
