As I write this, it's my 48th year around the sun.

I'm listening to my body.

My intuition.

It's screaming let go.
Let go of control.
Let go of efforting.

Slow down.

Let things unfold.

Listen to the ache in your shoulders
Soften into the anxiety in your throat.

Don't wipe it out with sugar, caffiene, ni****ne.

Rest my dear.

Lay apon the grass

And breathe...

Soften your body.
Rest your mind.
Close your eyes.
Think of nothing.
Create space.

Allow inspiration to descend from the divine.

Me : Dear Brain, thank you for making sure I breathe. Thanks for helping me with my math, and for helping me think ahead. And a big thanks for keeping me safe! You're awesome. Is there anything I can do in return?

Brain: You're welcome! You know I love solving problems – But sometimes, maybe, you could just give me a break and let life unfold? Just see what happens next?

Me: Ok..... Hmmm Haaaa....I'll just let go of a problem and see what happens.... I'll give you a break from them. It Feels weird though.

Brain: Thats it tiger.

You need to realise that I'm not here to control everything!

Just let go for a bit.

See what unfolds.

Just try enjoying life for a change!

A friendly reminder to Breathe...

Why not try this 3 part - Calm and Focus Breath -

Lets get set up first -

1- Straighten the spine. Relax the face. Put on a slight smile :-)

2 - Breathe In through the nose with a focus on -
- filling up from below the belly button
- then expand the ribs with your breath,
- now breathe all the way up to the collar bones... Sip in some more and more ! and more -there is always more!

3- HOLD IN for a count of 5

4- Then release super super slowly through pursed lips....

5- When empty, squeeze more air out with the lower belly muscles... more.... more - there is allways more!

6 Allow the air to naturally fill you up again from the belly button area and repeat x 3 and see the observe the sense of focus and calmness in your mind and body!

If we start by being kind to ourselves. The rest will flow.

My favourite 3 things to be kind to myself are-

1- Stay hydrated and eat well (duh) but I forget it so easily.
2- Manage my thoughts. Thoughts are powerful things. Be selective in the ones we nurture (go you good thing!)
3 - Practice good emotions. It's like going to the gym for my emotions. The more I practice gratitude the easier it is to do it !

Getting good sleep is also a must!
