Chloe has joined The Acupuncture Room and is available on Mondays and Thursdays.

Chloe has experience working with pain management, mental health, gynecological issues, digestive health and specializes in cosmetic facial rejuvenation. She has gained valuable clinical experience while studying and practising in both Korea and Australia.

Chloe integrates Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine to support the physical and emotional changes, and to help manage different conditions.

SAY HELLO TO BRANDON 👋

Brandon is one of new additions here at The Acupuncture Room.

He holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (B TCM. UTS) and also a Bachelor of Medical Science (B MedSc. MQ)

Brandon is registered as both an Acupuncturist and Herbalist.

His treatments include acupuncture, massage, cupping, herbal medicine and more!

Brandon's special interests in treatment include:
- Mental Health
- Pain Relief Acupuncture
- Muscle and Joint issues
- Emotional Health
- Chronic issues

✨✨ UPDATE on The Acupuncture Room ✨✨

Happy New Year, everyone!

We would like to start this post by congratulating Dr Jane Lee on welcoming a beautiful and healthy baby girl at the end of last year! Dr Jane will still be on Maternity Leave for the next few months and we wish her all the best in her recovery.

As you may be aware, Dr Brittney Cook joined the Navy Reserve and fell in love with it! She has chosen to step away from The Acupuncture Room to focus solely on her new venture. We will miss her dearly and wish her all the success and happiness in her new career.

The Acupuncture Room will now be looked after by Senior Practitioner Dr Steven Ly whom has been with us for the past few years.

Lastly, thank you so much to each and everyone of you for your ongoing support.

Does acupuncture hurt?

Our techniques are simple, safe and effective.

There’s often a misconception that acupuncture is a painful and uncomfortable procedure that can’t be enjoyed. This is completely untrue. While there is sometimes a small degree of momentary discomfort, it’s only ever so slight, and just for a moment.

Once the needles are in, you can expect sensations of heaviness, tingling and warmth. Our clinic director Brittney describes her experience of acupuncture as ‘feeling like she’s sinking right into the table’ as a result of the treatment and relaxation.

It’s not uncommon for patients to fall asleep during their treatment as their bodies become so relaxed.

Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) ~ an alternative treatment to acupuncture.

If you have a health concern and aren't a huge fan of acupuncture needles, CHM could be a better option for you.

We still perform the same in-depth consultation you would receive with acupuncture, including Chinese Medicine dietary and lifestyle advice. With this information we prescribe a herbal formula that's best for your condition.

Here, an initial consultation and treatment runs for 90 minutes and is $130. All follow up treatment/s run for 60 minutes and are $85. Acupuncture is eligible for private health fund rebates.
