🧩🧸Preschool Picture Routine Chart: creating a safe and predictable space for Preschoolers.

Working in the Disability Industry, I have witnessed some individuals visit the same place and do the same activities, on a daily basis. Community participation and trying new experiences, can be overwhelming for people with a disability, in particular individuals with expressive and receptive language processing disorders. With this being said, everyone should have the opportunity to choose different places and social experiences. With the right resources and tools a person with a disability can enjoy a full and enriched life.

☀️The sun is out! Visual support keyrings for Community outings. 🏖️ It is great to see so many people being supported out in the Community, enjoying the warm weather. There are so many places to visit all over our wonderful Country that are accessible for people with a disability.

I wanted to share some of our portable visual hand cards that individuals, family members, and support workers can keep in their pockets to support people with language disorders to be safe in the Community.

🌟 Transforming lives: I am so happy to introduce our new Activity Choice Folder, empowering individuals to meet their goals through picture exchange! 💪🏼 🌟 I spent years building my own choice and activity decision-making folder for my son. Like every parent, there was an urgent, manic need to support my son to develop as many skills as quickly as possible.

Visual supports (picture exchange) for decision-making and skill-building were life-changing for us.

I am excited to share this simple and newly improved, visual communication system with others. The perfect easy-to-use resource to prompt individuals with a disability to make their own choices, build skills, encouraging social interactions and community participation through picture exchange. With a comprehensive focus on building skills, this resource serves as a versatile tool to empower individuals in working towards independent living.
