How much weight gain is healthy during pregnancy?
Weight gain varies, but around 12–14kg is considered typical. Gaining too much can affect both your health and your baby’s, and may be harder to lose postpartum.

It’s often harmless - but if the itching is on your palms or soles, it’s worth mentioning to your doctor. In some cases, it can be a sign of a temporary liver condition called obstetric cholestasis, which can be managed with the right care.

Is it safe to have a Pap smear during pregnancy?
Yes -it’s generally considered safe. While a Pap smear may cause some minor bleeding, it does not increase the risk of miscarriage. If you're due for a cervical screening, it’s still important to stay on top of your health during pregnancy.
