World Family Doctor Day (WFDD), on 19 May, is a global occasion to recognize the crucial role family doctors and primary care teams play in healthcare systems around the world.
Family doctors are uniquely positioned to nurture mental wellness through continuous, person-centered care, early intervention, and holistic support, helping patients manage life's stressors effectively.
Mental wellness is about resilience and adaptability, not perfection: We advocate shifting perceptions from unattainable ideals of mental health to promoting resilience and adaptability, empowering individuals and communities to navigate life's challenges constructively.
